It seems lately that it's become okay to be openly bigoted and racist towards people with pale skin tones.Hell one person who openly discriminated against those groups and is a proud racist recently walked from hate speech charges.Whereas if a white guy were to say #killallblacks he would've been crucified by now.

And let's not even get into diversity quotas and tokenism,where someone can get special treatment just due to their race,gender,or sexuality.

It seems in today's society that if you're white,straight,and/or male that you are a 'acceptable' target for bigotry and racism.And if you complain then check your privilege because only whites can be bigots while for the other groups it's called 'punching up'.

What your post neglects to mention is that everyone had enslaved each other at one point,even black people.

And what about the Irish and Polish who both suffered oppression?Are they responsible for what people did centuries ago that they had no relation to?Are today's whites guilty by association and therefore it's okay to be bigoted towards them?

Because you know that logic can be applied to other ethnic groups as well,and it'd be just as wrong.

There's definitely a bias. I see it all the time on social media, especially on Black Twitter and tumblr. People who convinced themselves it's okay to be racist against white people because, for some stupid reason, white people can't face racism and black people can't be racist. It's a bias supported by delusion.

One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen was a tumblr post where a woman tried to say that not all cops are the same, and for people to remember that because it's very possible for cops to be attacked because of generalization. Then a black woman responded saying "**** your husband" because he's a white cop.

And guess what? When other nations enslaved others, slaves had rights. Yes black people had slaves. But slaves were treated like servants not like live stock. Slaves in Africa could buy their freedom and work towards it. Slaves were not raped, when slaves had children their children weren't born as slaves because their parents were slaves. Slaves were essentially treated like humans. And in my opinion, are white people today to be blamed for slavery? No. But the systematic oppression and racism in this country is very real, your forefathers made things they were back then, so white people can have the advantage in society against slaves. Racism wasn't invented by blacks. So expecting blacks to be the only ones to be able to end it is ignorant. No one is telling you to feel guilty, or hate yourself for being white. But being aware of the facts is the very least you can do.

Racism has many definitions if you go to different sources. I'm not changing anything at all. For example, here's googles definitions
1- The belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

2- Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

You said in an earlier post that saying white people can't be victims of racism is in itself racism. How so? Since we want to go by definitions now, what did I say in that post that claimed I felt superior to white people?

EDIT- Racism and discrimination fall under the same category, but they are not the same. For example, a black man saying he doesn't like white people because they are white is bigoted and discriminatory. A department store not hiring a man because he is black is what? A discriminatory business? Or a bigoted business? Maybe a racist business?
