Yes. I wouldn't notice if during cutscenes they didn't have a detailed ass in my face. Even during normal gameplay you can notice it when your crawling about .Kojima has also done the same with Solid Snake in 4
Also in V, one of the best selling games of the year, the butt of the main character becomes way more noticeable when you're running or crawling. The camera is right behind Snake, so you can't miss that.
And lets not forget in both the first game and its remake, it had a grown man knocked out, naked, with his ass up in the air. That got a close up in the cutscene

Are they selling that pose now as a toy? Did the designer tweeted (like they tweeted for Quite) that new snake toy was out and you could play with the cheeks of that arse?
Aren't you continuing argument just for the sake of it? Frankly the designer was more honest and accepted *** sells, rather than the fans arguing he wasn't doing that.

Personally, I thought it was stupid that Kojima tried selling a character with *** appeal alone when he's done good female characters before. The game sold on name alone though. Only such a small niche will buy or have bought the statue.

And you've chosen to ignore that I've posted good female characters and then just tried to move the goal post when I presented a character that is presented in a erotic fashion at times. But okay. If it isn't erotic then why is it detailed and there and noticeable for the player when the player is doing the simplest of tasks like crawling? Even without a penis on his game model when he's naked, his ass is still out and detailed for the player to see.
The plot didn't even need him naked. The previous games in the series have Snake get captured and has his stuff taken yet the most that happens to him is he loses his shirt. Even the last game the second game was trying to recreate with Raiden, everything was to scale but Raiden didn't need to be naked.
Here's two more examples

Mr.Gold and Silver. The game gets crouch shots of these two and they're always doing something sexual. Even their attacks are sexual.
This isn't why I think feminism is bad. Infact, I never said it is bad. I think feminism is wrong on the subject of the portrayal of females in video games. It ignores that males are also over the top and have a unrealistic portrayal. Most guys I know don't have the physique of a greek statue nor do they walk around shirtless. They also don't rip people in half and have a lust for blood and war.
How is it right to ignore that males also have a unrealistic portrayal in video games but point out that females do too?

By the way, Hideki Kamiya is Bayonetta's creator. The chick merely designed her. Just like Raiden's look was literally dictated by Kojima word by word - Yoji Shinkawa merely drew him.

Quiet's portrayal was very different than Raiden's and Solid Snake's - one was being tortured and Big Boss is hardly considered a *** symbol. I'll give you Raiden though. As he was designed because female Japanese gamers found Snake too old and wanted a good looking, younger hero.
The reason for her wearing that doesn't make any sense when The End wore a full suit and still managed it just fine. If you have played both games, then you would know what I am talking about. How is quiet an awesome character? I get Boss. I get Naomi. I don't have any problems with her sexual objectification either. It's the justification of it that seems bizarre to me, when the girl has ... how many lines in the entire game? I know the reasons behind it as well.
Her romance with Venom is borderline insane and stupid. Not to mention he 180 degree turn after the burning incident. She's just a paper thin character. She ain't no Boss/Joy, that's for sure.
