Exactly why I am dismissing the argument on both ends.
Not really, the burden of proof lays on you rn, you said you had other sources that stated otherwise, I merely didn;t trust those translations and thus I asked you to come up with the VIZ. Make no mistake, this is no argument, this is just you denying what's generally accepted as a fact just because there are "other translations"
You do know that such argument can be used by anyone over anything
Not true actually. By following up the mention of the New World with "out there," it indicates that by "out there," he means "out there in the New World."

I still don't see how them being the most powerful, relates to the new world. Garp said "out there" and ended the sentence there, continuing his main point with a different aproch aka where they reign.
We all know that yonko hold territories all over the new world, and when Garp mentioned it, he meant those, hence the phrase "live as emperors", the most powerful part didn't relate to the new world in anyway, and you can correct me if I'm wrong/
You said that the New World pirates are stronger than Paradise pirates in general. It's not a universal concept. The title of being the strongest swordsman in the entire world IS universal. The fact that you said in general is WHY there are exceptions.
That statement had nothing to do with the yonko though, how does it validate you making exceptions for one argument but not another of nearly the same concept?
But ok, I'll see if I can get anything close to the VIZ
