actually in both points you're wrong because while I was reading the chapter, I was serious about the manga but when the mc defeated a ''god'', that just killed the potential for me.

I can't see someone saying there are seriously reading the manga handpicking random chapters from the long running series and saying it is 'suddenly down because certain something didn't went the way I would like to'. That is a no 'God'. How can that kill the potential for the series?. Potential for a series is something that you perceive while reading it along the way. There is no potential for series when you read it in the middle of the story and drop it in the next second.

I read mangas when people recommend me a single chapter or episode of a series. If they show me a single chapter or even a volume and I don't like it then there's no potential for me to say ''uhm looks good, let me read this manga from the begin and see what's going on!'' nope.

Natsu never killed a god. Unless you ment a god slayer. That was later told to be some sort of lost magic. It had no relation to god whats so ever. Than again if you only watched two episodes its beyond me how you got that far.

Now as for the reviewer you are wanking. You can laugh all you want but given his reputation, it is a norm for him to act so unprofessional.

So did that certain someone showed you to read chapter 433-434 which is far from the either first chapter or first volume of the manga?. On that basis of what you said......the potential for the series is died for you when you dropped it in second episode itself. But you said the potential is dead when Natsu Two hit defeated that so called 'God'. How is that?.

The word God is overused in this manga tbh. That is no real God like beings you think. It summoned through the Yakuma's eighteen war god magic is called as one of the battle god which we have yet to know anything about their extinct race, Yakuma. For example, one of the spriggan 12 is named as God serena but he is a human and no god. The only one who seems like a real god is God Ankhselam whose existence is yet to be confirmed. They are named as such but they are not.

The reason as to why I hated it is because you just can't introduce a ''god'' to the readers after a timeskip and get one shot kill by the main character just like that. I actually laughed at first then I started thinking about it. ''If this guy can one shot gods then who the hell is going to stop this guy from being too OP?''. If ''gods'' were like this then gods are super duper shit. The last boss would have to be a super hyper mega ultra quadruple god to even have a fair fight with this ''god slayer mc''. I can try it the anime once again. who knows.

Yeah I know how you feel. I in fact doubted this God slayer subject myself. It wasn't till I re-watched the episodes with my cousin and bro that I got the idea of what they were about. In the anime world not many things bother me, but its when they overuse the concept of devil or god is when it gets to me. As long as the anime is making it clear that what ever we see in it has no conflict with beliefs I am ok with it. And dude I can guarantee you that this anime has no offensive value in terms of beliefs. You should defiantly give this show a chance because I can see you liking it. This show presents many great ideas that I wish Naruto even had. Also make sure you watch it up till episode 26 before you decide to call it quits. Watching just two episodes is not enough for any anime.
