[Discussion] Why i want Kid vs Luffy

Ive always wondered if luffy will have a competitor for pirate king, and i dont mean BB, but a real competitor for king, someone whos worthy like luffy, but has a different way of getting there(violence, like kidd) I think Kidd wil be luffys real rival for pirate king,

I also believe Kids real name isnt. Eustas(last name) Kidd(first name).... But instead when its said in the order of first name than last name. its Kid(d) Eustass aka first name is Kid (the second d in kid is really the D. initial) (and his last name) Eustass

So... Kid D. Eustass

making him another worthy D whos only differnt than luffy because hes ok with violence.

at the end of the story will be two worthy D. pirate king candidates, Kidd and alliance vs Luffy and alliance. just speculation tho.

BB VS LUFFY makes sense.
BB is the reason why Ace died.
His crew is definately going to sell the info about Dragon's address.
He is the only guy who ate 2 devil fruit. One of them is the strongest fruit in OPverse.
He is confirmed D(not like your theory where u are trying to potray Kid as D).
BB is like evil Luffy.(if i m not wrong they both eat a lot. luffy loves meat and BB loves pie and they both wants to become PK)

On the other hand Kid Vs Luffy is going to happen soon.
Kid is going to team up with Kaido and wage a war against Shanks. luffy is going to stop him by kicking his butt.
Kid is nothing special. he is another df user who is going to face Luffy in New World and he is not a D.

the fact that BB is evil disqualifies him from what im trying to say. when i said worthy D character i meant two D characters that can be rivals on a almost friend type of level but enemy's at the same time, luffy cant do that with BB. he willl always hate BB. the scenario im thinking of is with someone luffy can respect even if he doesn't agree with him, in a way that he has to truly compete against him for the pirate king title.

not the best example but like how in game of thrones there's jon snow and danerys, If the theorys are true neither one of them is out to get each other but they are rivals for the throne.

and law has the D title too, but it doesn't mean he'll be an end game enemy, the D speculation in Kidds name was just another reason i wouldn't mind seeing it happen. if you dont get the scenario im describing than dont worry about it.

Luffy vs BB seems plausible, why???

• both have D's in their name
• both believe in the pirate dream
• both want to be the pirate king
• both wants the one piece

so the final fight between looks like its gonna happen...

but why not luffy vs kid.????

• kid is an arrogant, nobody wants an arrogant king
• kid has no dream of being pirate king, i believe he just to be king as a source of power to dominate other
• kid bounty was higher because he killed several people in his journey, i believe because he was bored or was pissed with the weak people
• & thats not how a king should be

so for me i will be looking forward for luffy vs bb as the final fight for the title of pirate king and one piece, but luffy vs kid also might take place just before the final fight to give give luffy a new power up..........

They both dreams to be PK, Kid wants to find One Piece. He was even noted to have killed a lot of people for mocking his dream of finding OP.

Yeah, not quite a reason to say that Teach isn't qualified as one of the villains to last long enough close to the end of the series just because of the look. Apparently charisma equalize to strength in the eyes of some people. It's understandable. Only handsome characters fight in the end. That's how fans want.

Not everyone needs to be a D this is not naruto. I hope oda doesn't do that it'll be too much like uchiha vs senju etc. the series is better with more twists.
