If you want a cool and warm village that will help you and get your back you should try Ame, Iwa or Konoha.
Sunagakure and Kumogakure are currently inactive

Iwa is a great place to be! ^_^ However, I believe Kerrah (the kage) is inactive atm. You could wait for him, though. o.oMy friends are already in Konoha so I don't want to be in the same village as them.
