Would you kill yourself to save millions?

If my family is in the one million then yes
If not, then sorry to the one million unless it has my close friends
If i am guaranteed game for dying then maybe
If the one million has no friends family or close ones, but does have all the *******s in my life then nope let them burn
If the one million is full of nice people then what the hell. I'll die for them

Anyone who says they would is lying to themselves. If anyone who said yes, was actually in that situation and about to die, I'm sure they would think to themselves "I wish I would have made a different decision." Especially if there was pain involved.

True but it's more of a conscience thing, most people would be ridden of guilt for years if they were responsible for millions of death's, perhaps even turn suicidal.

Unless it was directly my fault, as in I killed them, and not I didn't die so they did, it wouldn't bother me too much.

Lol, the fact that it's your life makes it worth more to yourself. We aren't objective creatures but it's great that we have people like you, that is if this is what you'd actually do, and unless you've been through the situation, you'll never know.

I don't think the value of life should be quantified like that though.

Questions like would you kill this one or this million, seem so wrong to me, but the obvious choice is you'd rather have more live.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm not the one killing the million strangers, so I don't see why I have to die. Then again, if one of said victims was in front of me and was a child or something during the choice, I might get emotional and kill myself, instead, I don't know.

As a collective, humans will allow their self interests to lead them into things like deceit, killing, stealing, and destroying.

My mind tells me we're basically like a virus on this earth anyway. That many less lives might be an improvement.

My heart tells me that if saving the lives of a million wretched people means saving the lives of hundreds of thousands of genuinely GOOD people, then I'd choose to save them.

I would be really scared, but I think I would do it. It is not that I do not value my life (because I actually do), it's just that I don't think I could live with knowing that my inaction contributed to such loss of life and suffering. If you think about it, my decision to do so probably wouldn't be so selfless after all... My deepest regret would be the pain and heartache I would be inflicting on my loved ones.
