Next year, it will be something else, and we will eventually get to the point where a question of: "would you rather have a black son or a homosexual son" ends up landing people in hot water who say they would prefer the homosexual son - because they are obviously racists.

How is killing a fetus a problem tho? It isn't even conciously aware of being "alive" and it is not even close to being a grown baby.

The adopted son of a gay couple would, of course, be accepted far easier. Its really a simple way of thinking, but it doesn't mean you're a homophobe.

As for the Daughter, all fathers are going to be protective of her and skeptical of most boyfriends she brings home. Seventeen is clearly too young to start a family for most girls, so almost all fathers would be quite mad over such a young pregnancy. I think given a night to sleep on it, most fathers would be able to accept the son's sexuality, but most would still be angry at the daughter.

You should speak for yourself. It's wrong to say "most men" want that, I know lots of males who don't care, including myself. Being gay also doesn't mean your kid won't be masculine or manly, and quite frankly, he doesn't need to be. That's such a superficial thing to care about.

I'd raise my kid to be a decent person and make reasonable decisions. If my kid prefers acting or doing things associated with the opposite gender, that's fine with me, as long as they're happy, safe and efficient in life, then I've done my job right.
