I can understand where the OP is coming from. If you think about it, it was never really explained just what this "phasing ability" was. We know that Obito's each individual MS had a different ability (though both connected to Kamui). One of them could teleport from a distance (the one that Kakashi had) and the other could teleport the user (the one that Obito had). With that in mind, it's only logical to assume that Obito was using Kamui to teleport fragments of himself to the other dimension in the same manner that he would himself as a whole.

So yes, if you think of it in that context, it is a plot hole that Madara was able to use Kamui as the Juubi's Jin... even though it wasn't ever explained why being a Jin prohibited the use of Kamui.

Just chalk it up to yet another example of horrible writing in the climax of the series.

Any person who can control Sharingan well if he implants a MS he'll be able to use it's abilities easily(unlike Rinnegan)Madara never showed Shinra Tensei or some other jutsus of Nagato.
Unique abilities of Rinnegan cannot be used by the false user...
But MS yes,Danzo uses Koto Amatsukami.
Wanna know the true plothole?
Sasuke can't use Tsukuyomi the way Itachi did,even if he implanted his eyes...

He teleports parts of his body to kamui land to phase, teleporting is basically him phasing his entire
body and exiting again to a specific location.

More like nerf. I can feel Itachis power flowing through me. Yet I cant use his techniques lol.

Obito was restricted in whole war arc.
He hardly used Rinnegan techniques,
He lost control after becoming Jubi jin,
His Sharingan didnot mutated into something else,
Cannot use his sharingan abilities etc
whereas Madara can do everything.
He never lost control after becoming Jubi Jin,
Got a new eye,
Was able to use Obito's sharingan without any training etc.
So yes kishi f***ed up with Obito's character in War arc.

Thats not a plot hole , itachi was much more intelligent than sasuke an as jiraiya said , a person needs to hav a level of intelligence to use genjutsu , so logically the more intelligent person would always stem the better genjutsu and in the case of itachi/sasuke "the difference was as far as heaven and earth".

It all adds up to a thread i made regarding all MS abilities and how they connect to the user.
