Bm (cooperation and using his chakra)
And there's bijuu transformation (taking on the physical form of the beast)

He was only able to do the later after receiving full components of kurama.m

ALSO both are actually "kurama chakra mode"! Bijuu mode was never used by kishii I don't think, want that just a "fan-dub" name for it? Regardless, the difference is based on whether if not kurama is cooperating or not. You can't figure out what naruti is using by appearances alone; he's always changing form based on his outfit.
