i'm a lot more disappointed about the lack of Sith in the movie. There's been black Jedi before, so i don't see it as being a huge deal. However, a Star Wars movie just doesn't feel like a Star Wars movie to me when there isn't a Sith in it. Watching a wannabe Sith who happens to be a Vader fanboy just doesn't make me feel inclined to believe someone should be afraid of this guy.

The odd thing for me would be the legitimacy of his skywalker heritage. I mean this guy is no where near half-black and if he's a skywalker he must be half black as the skywalker family is white. The new story is set 30 years after episode 6 ended right? So he must be the son of Luke and a black woman if I'm guessing right. Again, it doesn't make sense because he would be half black and he certainly doesn't look that.
