That's what I was thinking either that or a modified form of Freeze Tag.

But ya know I swear if Nanao or some other jackass prevents us from finally witnessing Shunsui's Bankai. I am seriously gonna buy a damn plane ticket and slap the unholy hell out of Kubo for screwin with our emotions again! We already get enough of that bull shit in the battle of the iron throne U_U

Not really, he was thanking her for transporting him there and a couple of panels later he was shown tracing Barro's reiatsu, though the tracing of reiatsu was Barro explaining and he might have gotten it wrong.
