.) Dracule "Hawk-Eyes" Mihawk - I have to give the number one spot of the Shichibukai to one of my favorite characters in the series, because yeah we have seen this guy in "semi" action against Zoro, and Luffy (manga), but several others that I am too tired to remember the names of and held his own with extreme ease. Another reason I place him at the top his that his rival used to be Shanks (a current Yonko) but immediately was bored with him after he had lost his arm saving Luffy.
.) "Heavenly Yaksha" Donquixote Doflamingo - Despite how much I detest this character. I cannot deny the fact of just how much of a beast this guy is, due to the most recent arc, having awakened his DF and pushing not just Luffy into using a new Gear (that had secretly had since during the TS), but pushing Law to his limits as well with relative ease.
.) "The Surgeon of Death" Trafalgar D. Water Law - Once again another of my favorite characters in the series. This guys DF is absolutely insane, anything within his "Room" quite literally becomes his little *****! I believe the reason he had lost the fight with Doflamingo wasn't because he was weaker than Mingo, but because he had let that fight get far too personal and overestimated his ability and underestimated just how strong Mingo's ability and influence truly was/is.
.) Marshall D. Teach "Blackbeard" - Despite not really knowing just how truly powerful this guy is he has quite easily made a name for himself by having had captured Ace, acquired the Gura-Gura Fruit and having concerned Shanks to the point where he had to confront the late Edward Newgate "Whitebeard" about not pursuing the hunt of Blackbeard, alone gives this guy a top spot within the Shichibukai. But alas this man is no longer one of them.
.) "Snake Princess" Boa Hancock - Being from Amazon Lily, and in love with Luffy we haven't seen too much of her combat capabilities due to, quite a few male characters falling to the effects of her "Love-Love" fruit save for a few character (Luffy & Mihawk for prime examples). So far that we know of she is able to stand toe-to-toe with ease with Marine Captains and if I remember right some Admirals.
.) "Tyrant" Bartholomew Kuma - The man that single handily split the Straw Hats apart for 2 years, had Zoro suffer an extreme amount of pain in return for Luffy's life, and the wielder of the "Paw-Paw" Fruit. This guy was hellaciously intimidating when we had first bore witness too him and the end of the Thriller Bark arc, and shocked and what he did on the Archipelago, to praising him for protecting the "Thousand Sunny" while the Straw Hats were split up. Sadly now all we have to remember this big brute are his many clones called the Pacifista.
.) "Knight of the Sea" Jinbe - We have seen him in action a few times since we first met him at Impel Down, he is without a down a badass for a fishman. But sadly I just can't really see him holding a candle to any of the higher up Shichibukai. Albeit in the anime they did have him fight Mihawk for a brief period but for about 90% of the fight he was getting his arse whooped.
.) Gekko Moriah - Yet another "Former" Shichibukai on this list, this man when we first met him I disliked him, he was just far too annoying for my liking for an antagonist, and quite literally became nothing more than cannon fodder during the war at Marine HQ.
.) Sir Crocodile - And once again we have another "Former" Shichibukai, when we were first introduced to this guy I thought he was going to be a long standing villain, but after the events of Alabasta, you don't hear anything of this guy again until Impel Down and he literally joins with the man who defeated him in order to escape. And even goes as far to attempt to help save Luffy from Mihawk.
.) Buggy the Star Clown - This guy until he is shown in the NW will remain at the bottom of the totem poll for me despite being one of the newest Shichibukai, a member of the Roger Pirates, and ally of Shanks. All he has been to the series is comedic relief during high stress events, even so much so that Luffy used him as a substitute to avoid Mihawk, and get blown up by his own noes when he tried to use it on the World's Greatest Swordsman.
