I loved this chapter but was hoping for more background, maybe next chapter. Just saying Kushina's chakra is special leaves so much that it could be that it is hard to even guess. I will of course do so anyway.


I still think that Kushina and the Uzumaki are a direct decendant of the SoSP along the same line as the Senju with the body of the Sage. Or perhaps that is what Kishi is working towards, that the Senju and the Uchiha weren't the only two bloodlines to come from the Sage and that there was a third, the Uzumaki who inherited the Sage's chakra.


An even bigger twist, maybe the Uzumaki are a result of a Senju and Uchiha union. It wouldn't be a huge jump to think that at some point an Uchiha hooked up with a Senju and had a child, they would both have been booted from their clans or even killed during the period when the Uchiha and Senju were in constant competition. To stay alive it would make sense that they would have to form their own clan and keep their abilities as secret as possible. It could even be as a result of someone like Orochimaru (obviously not him specifically) who was trying to recreate the Sage but ended up with something new. I think I like that idea the most but find it to be somewhat unlikely even as I type it.


One other idea I had is that the Uzumaki go back farther than both the Senju and Uchiha and are from either the SoSP mother or father or even brother (Kishi seems to like siblings at odds) who possessed an even more unique ability. Really it could be anything but I have this nagging feeling that the Uzumaki are somehow linked to the Sage.


In any case I can't wait to see next week's chapter and look forward to all of your theories until then.

And a even more bigger twist, what if Naruto and Sasuke are really brothers?

I mean, for example, lets say Kushina are both`s mother(Kushina cheated on Minato and with Sasuke`s father and him and his new wife took care of Sasuke) or Minato are both`s father(Minato cheated on Kushina with Sasuke`s mother. That could explain why Sasuke`s father preferred Itachi up till some pointsxd).

really lovely chapter! lovely because it was so heart warming to see mother and son reunite! they sure took their time huh, sitting down and chatting in some blank space xd too bad naruto didn't have that luxury with minato! LOL.

i loved kushina's character, naruto really took after her! i can't wait to hear her funny slang in anime! and her story with minato was really sweet

i'm so glad that naruto has such awesome and supportive parents! i have a feeling that naruto is definitely stronger than sasuke because of his parentage, i mean sasuke's parents seem pretty mediocre compared to naruto's isn't it?? with kushina's special chakra (which i can't wait to find out what it really does!) and minato's super cool techniques..

i also find it pretty cool that the fox recognizes kushina. like she has some hidden power that could stop him. hmmm!

and yup, we are getting close to number 500! something epic will definitely happen in that, i hope!

well 498 was vgood chapt. for me huh i dont know what to say about it but itwas really gd to read..it got me thinkin about the Kushinas chakra ability, if Minato used it to make a seal the fox is it means that she was able to control bijuu's? and if Naruto hav any special chakra too... cant w8 for 499

Just now, i realised how wise Minato was. He set the seal so that if 8 Tails appear, he appears in naruto's consciousness(in case Naruto lost consciousness) to stop the Nine Tails from being released. Still, even if Naruto is conscious, release the Nine Tails and not able to control it, his mom is still there to save Naruto. Kishi, good work.

just a thought that came to me, remember back in an earlier chapter where kabuto had that unknown coffin.. kushina could be in there. that would explain why madara was afraid of kabuto because she would be able to stop the other tailed beasts. definently 5/5 chapter kishi you're doin great keep up the good work.

Awsoome chapter.. But i don't think naruto gon get a new genkai.. I dnt think its something that just gets given lol.. I mean unlike the sharingham or the rinnengam... Still awesome read. 5/5

So i was thinking. It is said that either the 1st or 4th Hokage who is the best Kage through historie.

The 1st could controll Bijuus and Minato had all those crazy jutsus.

Well the 4th is Naruto`s dad, and what if Kushina has some of the same controlling ability as the first., maybe Tsunade is her auntxd

So then Naruto would have the blood of both the 1st and 4th

Minato is a super cool ninja. Bad-ass too. Kushina is pretty hot, and I found it kinda awkward when Naruto said she was a a babe. Anyway good episode, looks like Kushina was the extra needed strength that Naruto had to have in order to control the Nine Tails. Next chapter sho9uld be really good.

Also it wouldn't make sense for the Cloud-Nin to try and steal a KG... it wouldn't work for them ... I think her chakara has an ability similar to Shisui's ...
Sorta like mind control but not... As with Naruto he has an ability to make people want to follow him ... So something like emotional magnetism ... Maybe...

I give a 4.5/5 because it was just epic, 498 episodes until naruto meets both his parents, and kushina must be one tought chick if she can chain down the kyuubi like that, honestly it looked like he s*** his pants. this special chakra appeals to everyone and i think its like some kind of chakra that amplifies chakra maybe, perhaps leading to the fact of naruto enormous amount of chakra thats like 3-5 times as much as an elite shinobi like kakashi. next chapters are 5/5's easy, and like someone said earlier, 500th manga episode is gunna be the triumph of kyuubi control.

When naruto takes control, do you think he actually will get the kyuubi's memories and and be sick or something? it seems believable to me seeing how the manga has focuses on naruto for quite a while, and nobody else, not even kisamie.

I think you misunderstood that sentence.

What he says is that if Naruto could controll the Kyubi`s chacra, he would have 100 times more than Kakashi

So when he gets controll over the Kyubi and it`s chacra, then he will have 100 times more chacra than Kakashi

In other words, when he learns to use the Kyubi`s chacra and is able to use it in his jutsus.

Gosh, I`m looking forward to that. Imagine a red and blue Fuuton: Rasen Shuriken which is 100 times bigger than the original(well maybe overdoing it)
