It's one of the best arcs for sure, you could even argue it's the best. I hope people aren't putting this arc down because of the length or over something stupid like Rebecca was crying so much. This arc had everything from the backstories, characters, fights to even romance. The ending chapters of this arc was phenomenal and an amazing setup for future events. Fujitora and Corazon are my fav. characters introduced in this arc.
Now, I want to see the next arc where Sanji will shine. An emphasis on other SH's like Brook or Chopper would be really nice, especially Brook.

Doflamingo's arc = One of the best villains if not the best villain in One Piece to date.
Introduction of Fujitora = Always nice to see a new top tier, he had some epic moments with the meteors but he later faded away imo, he was also a plot device because had a real Admiral (Kizaru) shown up there would be no Dressrosa arc lol therefore he single handedly fv*ked Doflamingo over.
Big Mom entrance = epic
Sabo reintroduction = forums exploded, the biggest moment of the year for any manga.
Law's and Doflamingo's pasts = As always backstories were top notch
God Usopp = God Usopp
Zoro finally gets a real fight? = Think again at this rate Zoro is gonna make it to WSS fighting fodders (all the #2's of any crew are fodder to Zoro, Oda needs to start giving Zoro Luffy's opponents to mix it up or atleast Luffy level opponents)
Law/Luffy vs Doflamingo = solid fight I think it lived up to its hype, Doflamingo was a tank and all those saying Luffy would solo got shafted. One thing missing was a lack of CoC despite it being foreshadowed to be more than just fodder removal, I didn't get the feeling I was watching two CoC users fighting which I actually got when Luffy and Chinjao fought.
Gear 4 = Finally Luffy goes all out
Alliance formed = Luffy getting closer to that throne
Despite it being long as hell there was so much going on in this arc and there were countless epic moments. Week by week basis along with countless breaks it was tiring (especially that stretch with the tontatta and coliseum fighters) but as an arc overall and a saga (Luffy/Law alliance) it was one of the best and it certainly moved the plot the furthest since Sabaody.
Before I saw that the fodders from the coliseum were joining Luffy I thought this arc was around a 7.5/10 too many wasted chapters in between. But after that chapter it made sense why Oda spent so much damn time on them and thus I'd probably give this arc a rating of 8.5/10 and once I have all the volumes for this arc I will reread it in one go, it will probably go up because One Piece is best read in volumes.

Doflamingo's arc = Most interesting among villains so far ( the other one I liked was BB). That was the high point for me in the story.

Sabo- Always knew he was alive since I saw Dragon hanging out an picking something from the sea and all that. Glad that one is cleared now since I never understood why people thought he was dead after those panels.
Law's story- OK.
Usopp = >_> OK
Zoro- OK fight
Law/Luffy vs Doflamingo = Glad that was over.
Gear 4 = needs charging like a SM... hmmm
New Alliances =kind of expected the way it went, but good that it happened. A mile stone was covered.
Many nice moments in between but also too many repetitive/cliche stuff going on for a long while... But for Doflamingo's story, the arc reminded me of Alabasta for far too long. And since tournament style is not much of my cup of tea that too felt dragged on too much. Rebecca's story was tragic but boring.
Seems story will move to Sanji in next arc.. Hoping he get some nice moments for he has been annoying me for a while and seem to need some redemption.

Well I wouldn't say that but it reminded me of Kurama trying to gather chakra for Naruto in the mid battle while others were holding off till then. ...Some tropes and scenarios are so common in shonnens that it's hard not to remember one while reading another.
This was uncalled for. My intentions are simple- to give my view about the arc. I will appreciate if you do not make personal attacks because someone didn't have same opinion as you.

Only things that would have made it more awesome was to sum up in 50 chp max., 100 chp was way too ****ing long, which made it average.

Alright i'll refrain from doing so in the future, but its kinda sad tbh as a mod. There is clear bait there in your post which can trigger some Naruto vs OP argument. I'm not even one to go around hating on mods like that, but from what I can tell the intention in that post was clear, I wasn't even gonna entertain the post but then someone else quoted it.

And no you clearly cannot tell intentions clear- what you are doing is being over sensitive over a minor comparison because you somehow perceive it a slander when it wasn't. It's sad but you are the one making it an issue here not me. It was just a more striking comparison. I'm sure more examples of this kind can be thought up.
I get bored when the stories are dragged too long and this arc could be shorter too. But it started to pick up every time Doflo came up and had a good finish and that's something I liked. I enjoy the part I enjoy and rest I just put up with till I find the fun parts for my taste in every manga. Take it or leave it. Doesn't matter. For I do not try to push my views on others and perfectly respect your right of having a different one. But obviously I can only wish for the same courtesy here.

This is clear bait, anyone with half a brain can figure that out. What you are basically trying to imply is that he ripped off Kishimotos work, and it was completely unnecessary when summing up this arc.
I can give a rats ass what anyone here rates the arc, do you think I worship this show lol?

I didn't go out of my way to make comment, but simply posted in a thread asking everyone's view. You could just tell us how they are different and I wouldn't even have bothered to argue that.
Only thing clear is you are trying to make a huge deal for something very small.
