This is an interesting thread with a lot of well constructed arguments, and it's definitely a subject I think about often. Obviously, the answer to this question is highly subjective, and I don't believe there is a single right answer. I like reading everyone's opinion on the matter, though, and I hope this discussion goes on.​

If that would be the case, I'm going to laugh my ass off when I think about the thousands of Naruto vs Sasuke threads that ended in turmoil because people lacked the seriousness. Let me burst your bubble, it's the exact opposite. Trolling doesn't have any value and whatever it has it derives it from the naivety, stupidity and immaturity of people. Trolls are egotistical attention seekers who merely want to cause a ruckus, which works the best when there is a large group of people that has a moderate to low intelligence, making them easily affected.

Trolling with inteligence is just Disagreeing with someone.

For example, if i were to post my ridiculous theories making hundreds of threads using terrible evidence, that would be trolling. But if i only made a few threads, highlighting my new evidence to support my theories, that wouldn't be trolling.
