Well the use of summons I guess would be to help you in combat or even out of combat which would depend greatly on the situation (A bird to fly etc).
How summons work well I believe you create a contract between yourself and the animal you wish to summon so I would need to sign the Toad Contract for Toads etc ;-;

I was expecting you to describe how it's a form of space time through the use of a blood contract agreement but that will do.
So first of all, you need to sign the contract of the toads which i always carry with me, hold out your hand...

Right, so the way it works is you will use your blood with a series of handseals, gather your chakra, focus on a toad and slame your hand down to create the seal of summoning.
These are the handseals *shows you some handseals*
Most people bite their thumb to get the blood to do the summoning, but you're already bleeding so its all good.

At least this is one of the toads of the summoning contract, this is Gamatatsu, son of the toad boss Gamabunta, though he is a bit.... slow...
