Naruto is supposed to stop the cycle of hatred how is he going to do that if he can't forgive Obito?

Naruto is supposed to forgive people , he's the child of prophecy , he's supposed to bring peace , he's supposed to win against hatred , otherwise why am I even wasting my time on story that doesn't follow it's own theme.

So you expect Naruto to go all revenge-minded? He's not Sasuke.

He knows that what's in the past stays in the past, holding a grudge against someone isn't going to make it any better, Naruto knows when its time to man up and let the things of the past go. Obito was just confused, he was tricked and played by Madara, Naruto understood that. Not to mentio, Naruto said he "was" the coolest guy, indicating he was talking about the past form of Obito, probably kid Obito.

I know i'm super late, but who cares? I've been reading old threads and this really irked me people don't seem to understand that NOT FORGIVING SOMEONE DOESN'T MEAN YOU HATE THEM. How is Naruto going to stop the cycle of hate if he doesn't forgive. Lmfao, really people? This is a false dichotomy, these people exclude the middle ground entirely. You stop the cycle of hate by not hating and by not retaliating just like when the cloud got Hizashi killed and Konoha didn't retaliate and start a war THEY STOPPED THE CYCLE.
