Personality: Akame appears to be a very serious and coldhearted person which stems from her hellish training that the Anbu corpse forced her and her sister through, but it is eventually revealed that she is just socially awkward. She cares about her comrades very much and she is always worried that one of them may not make it out alive. When Tatsumi her childhood friend fought Ogre, she stripped him of his clothes to check his body for wounds. She also tends to hide her emotions when it is revealed that a comrade dies, such as seen with Sheele , making Tatsumi mistakenly and incorrectly assume that she deals with it easily, because she is used to it. However, this prompts her to break into tears saying that she can never be fine when she loses a friend, for it is the most horrible thing of which anyone can experience. She is then comforted by a sorry Tatsumi who resolves to not die and never let her experience such pain again, making her smile. Upon facing her enemies however, she shows absolutely no mercy towards them shouting words such as "eliminate" and "consign" to show the lack of mercy she has and also to strengthen her resolve to kill them. Akame loves to eat and is surprisingly known to be a big eater usually meat from wild-beasts and fish much like her sister Kurome. Food is her passion to the point that Sheele noted how the "usually cool" Akame turned mad when she had burned some meat.

When her friend was severely injured and about to die, she states that it allows them to be "together forever", and she intends to add her sister to this collection eventually. She also seems to play with the corpses of those she has killed, as well as keeping powerful ones to use in her permanent collection which is limited to eight. She's initially introduced as the ruthless psychopathic assassin who's main goal in life was being her older sister's sole murderer. Eventually through her interactions with Akame she becomes more stable, although still displaying psychotic tendencies once in a while.

歴史 一 Background
History: Akame and Kurome were born somwhere in the Land of Demons, it was a lawless area where you had no choice but to cannibalize inorder to survive. In a sense it was like hell if not worst, when Akame and Kurome were still a child, their parents sold both Akame and her sister Kurome to a group of criminals who supplied talented children with hidden abilities and keikkei genkai's to the special anbu foundations across the five great villages, they are similar to the root foundation. These weren't just your regular foundations, they specialized in transforming children into perfect killing machines. Akame and Kurome they were forced to participate in a cruel exam when they were still little, this exam was much like the chuunin exams however even most jounin level shinobi wouldn't have survived this particular exam, being put inside of a forest inhabited by many dangerous beasts, shinobi from the five great villages who went rogue amongs other outlaws. The only simple, yet nearly impossible goal being to survive and escape the forest. Out of one hundred children participating in the exam who were kidnapped or bought, Akame and her sister were amongst the few who managed to survive. The sisters had faced many hardships and seen the darkest of sins of man, these expierences made them forcibly mature at an very young age, noting that they would come to depend on each other. As the stronger of the two sisters, Akame gained more respect from her superiors, they had seen her hidden talents, shortly after that she was accepted into a new Assassin squad, the Elite Seven assassins of the Earth country, Kurome joined a little later due to her somewhat shy personality, they were trained in the arts of ninjutsu, genjutsu, espionage and combat and many other arts, becoming highly effective killers. After a long unspecified period of time training, the seven were given their first mission. Akame was sent to kill Martha, a person in the nearby village who was a Kirigakure spy and also a close friend to Akame. This was done to test her resolve as her sensei feared that she was far too kind for their purposes, they had no need for any kind of weakness in their line of work. As the others finished their missions successfully while there were some casualties that was to be expected, four of the seven had not retured meaning they failed. Akame led Martha to a graveyard with the intention of proving that Martha was innocent. Martha denies the claim and Akame tries to leave, proving to herself that the information that she was given was incorrect. However, Martha uses the moment when Akame turned her back to her to strike at her. Realizing the truth of the information she was given, Akame cuts her down and Martha dies by Akame's blade and this brings tears to Akame's eye. Here she learned not to misplace her trust, the mission is all she thought to herself. The story skips ahead at this point, next showing Akame and Kurome disguising themselves among a traveling entertainer group. Soon the group are attacked by bandits and the pair help fight off their attackers, defeating all of them. Impressed by Akame and Kurome's skill in battle, the Entertainer's group attempt to recruit them both, revealing themselves as Rebels plotting against the five great villages. Akame and Kurome signaled their comrades from the Anbu Assassins Squad to attack the group after this revelation, naturally after having confirmed for certain that their targets are indeed rebels enemies of the shinobi villages. Akame and her comrades eliminate the members of the entertainer's group, their mission is deemed a success and they are both praised by their mentor and leader, Gozuki. After joining her division, Kurome was subjected to cruel treatment as well as forced to ingest experimental drugs which would make the user go berserk and lose all reason in return for augmented strenght and speed. The poison would be used on Kurome's groups first official mission. The Targeted village was poisoned with this, forcing the rebel spies to flee the village. Kurome's group was tasked to intercept these spies as they left the village. The group waited for their targets to arrive and finally spotted them, taking their doping pills to enhance their strength as they began their attack. The group initially had the advantage against the spies, but soon the tides began to turn, when her comrade was wounded grievously and one was killed by manner of bisection. Heavily wounded and distraught by the death of their comrade, the group returned to base, where they were treated cruelly and locked up. The groups leader withheld their medication and told them to reflect on their failures in punishment. The leader then heads to the infirmary and inquires about the status of "number 32", a female medical ninja informs him that one of them was wounded so badly she will never be able to be an assassin again. Kurome would be placed in the same division as her sister the following day, she burt out in tears when she saw Akame. At this point Akame was second in charge just under Gozuki, the highest ranking member after the leader. Akame hugged her little sister tightly and they left together torwards the village hidden in the rain, the journey began inorder to further their skills as shinobi as they were mostly trained in the art of assassination. As they travelled the sisters found out about their unique Kekkei Genkai which allowed them to share a single body, they even managed to learn the Rain element in a short period of time when they passed through Amegakure. The sisters travelled through most of the Lands known to the shinobi, contstantly improving themselves in battle. TBC

The Souma no Kou Clan: Souma no Kou is the Kekkai Genkai ability that provides the user the ability to break down their bodies to a molecular level and merge with another being a sibling and thus they share one body. The Kekkai Genkai grants the user the ability to increase their healing of their body and restore wounds such as those induced through stabbing. The user can use the second body to aide them in combat such as creating the other bodies arms to appear out of the body or their legs for close combat to gain an advantage. They can also use techniques for multiple attacks. They can, if needed, separate into two separate bodies to attack independently and team up on their opponent. Akame and Kurome are merged for most of the time that they are together, however they are merged in a manner that allows for flawless and coordinated attacks on the enemy in close combat or medium. Kurome's head is always stiking out of the coat (same as sakon and ukon) while Kurome's hands are also visible , causing opponents to assume that Akame has four arms. Her appearance when merged is very similar to that of the Hindu goddess of death, Kali.

She learned to use it with efficiency since she was but six years of age, proving her worth she mostly uses water style techniques in combination with her sisters deadly lightning techniques. Akame is one of the most advanced Water release users in her whole village where she now resides together with her sister, granting Akame the ability to make use of every water related technique with one hand seal. While Kurome is very skilled in her own unique way, she is capable of using various lightning based jutsu with precision. Her affinity is the lightning release which she learned from an skillful jounin from the Land of Lightning, Kurome and Akame complete each other, since their style are mostly combinations and wel coordinated attacks. After having faced many battles together with her sister. Kurome is capable of utilizing lightning related techniques at an increased speed, her hand seals are barely visible when performing lightning related jutsu.
