And you think fiction doesn't affect culture or the way we live? Um..
You must be registered for see links
Anyway, doesn't even go that deep. Kids and teens are ridiculously impressionable consciously or not.
Right so you will let some fictional girl change your views about a women. A women that does not even exist with special powers. If anyone uses these things to see a women in a certain way they need help.
It's all the same evil. Better me someone arguing about something 'not important' (meaning: doesn't affect you personally) who hasn't been desensitised to realise this isn't okay than you 15 year olds who think their right to big titted anime ladies is more important than female respect / representation in the media.
No its not the same evil. The women in cartoons are not real. They are not being abused in anyway in real life. There portrayal is no different than any playboy magazines. If anything it is you guys that are making a big issue off it. You guys got many options to avoid it yet you don't. That is nobodies problem but your own. So please if you dislike boobies or titties than do something about it besides sitting around complaining.
As if I'm not allowed to live a happy life and complain because someone else is suffering on the other side of the world that I don't know. I wish there was something I could do to help but some people can't be helped. Yeah, the characters bring the anime to life so I must respect the characters to be able to like a series.
To be very honest I actually feel you in this response. The first half of your post is indeed sad. The world is not fair at all for some unfortunately. Now as for your post in bold. There is no need for you to respect these characters if you just don't. So don't try to force yourself into it. Its that simple.
