Naruto had a busy day throwing monsters around both in the anime as in the manga. I didn't expect Naruto to be that strong to get him on his back and almost cutting him in two. I had to read the page where Bee saves him from that blast a couple of times. Took me a while before i saw it was Bee's hand out of an inflatable ox head
I do hope Kushina isn't there just as a failsafe like Minato was. Maybe she has something to do with the voices and the hatred of the fox. I wonder why he is such a grumpy animal. Is it the collective hatred of all the previous Jinchuurikis he consumed? Hope we get some answers quickly. 4/5
I'm with you, 4/5. It's good to see a chapter with some action in it, but with all the chaos of the battle it's hard to follow along with what is going on. I had to re-read it twice to make sure I really understood what was happening.
I also agree that I hope Kushina isn't there as some sort of figment or failsafe. I really do hope that we can find out some more information about her, where she comes from, and how she died. As I suggested in a different post, maybe she didn't die, but instead sealed herself into Naruto to prevent the Fox's evil from taking over. If that's the case, when the fox is tamed and becomes good again, maybe she can come out and be Naruto's mother again?
What would be really cool about that scenario is that she could tell Naruto more about his father, and maybe teach Naruto some cool jutsus that his father used to do. That would be awesome. Can't wait for next week!
