Its not just Benitez, this generation of Madrid players has never worried me that much when it comes to La Liga trophies, ever since this generation took over Madrid during 2008 or something they have only won one la liga trophy, no offense but every year this Real Madrid team is inconsistent as ****, even in their best year and on our worst year during 2013/14 Real still couldnt win La Liga, u guys can make mistakes so easily time to times and it usually cost u guys the league title, ur good in competitions like UCL or CDR but inconsistent when it comes to League titles, u can win it this year since its only the start and there are 37 matches to play and this is nothing but my point still stands, only Mourinho can cope to win the League with this team.

Pedro u beauty!

Suarez is a beast, he saves the day one more time, what is more cool is that every since he joined barcelona every time he scored we always won.

20W-0L-0D, perfect.

What a thrilling encounter by Arsenal and Liverpool. Gutted Liverpool didn't get the 3 points. Impressed by Firmino, Gomez and Benteke. Not so confident about Ibe anymore.

And omg Coutinho!!!

I really love how he ran Bellerin ragged today. Hope we can keep him for a long time.
Still great start to the season for LFC imo.

I hope Messi or Suarez win the European player of the year tomorrow, I would love for Messi to win of course but Suarez wouldnt be bad either, he didnt get a chance to win a big individual trophy so I would get satisfied no matter which one of these two win.

It's nearly certain that the De Bruyne goes to Manchester City for 74m euros. Not really sure I'm glad about that. Great that they value him so much, but the Bundesliga was perfect for him.
Isn't the latest rumour that he'd go to Bayern next season? With them just buying him now and him joining up with the Bayern squad in the 16/17 season. I think that would suit De Bruyne much more since he'd be able to have another season at Wolfsburg and then stay in the country while also playing at a higher level.

That was the latest rumour, but that doesn't take away City was still in pole position. I also would have preferred for him to go to Bayern.

I feel as if it were to happen, it would have by now. I think him staying at Wolfsburg for another season would be best for his progression and he doesn't need to relocate but it's just a matter of whether Man City offer up enough money to the point that Wolfsburg have no option but to sell him.

If Bayern do end up purchasing him, I wonder what that would mean for Mario Gotze. Surely that would signal his departure, especially considering the arrival of Douglas Costa into the Munich team.

That De Bruyne in Chelsea couldn't play against 2nd divison club.

And 74mil is a joke.Chelsea bought Pedro and Hazard for 55min all together and both are better players than De Bruyne.

Bundesliga is a wonder league for him.

All bias aside, in the next 4 years, who do you guys think the top 5 teams will be in the world? For me:

No particular order:

Bayern Munich - Still has a strong youth system, Douglas Costa, Gotze, Muller and Lewandowski will all be in their primes at that point and they're great at integrating youth.

Juventus - Dybala, Coman, Berardi, Rugani, Morata, Sandro etc. Best collection of youth players in the world right now, good experienced players like Marchisio and Bonucci and has a good youth system as well.

Chelsea - Hazard will be in his prime and only grow, have some of the best youth players in the world (Zouma comes to mind) and can still spend to fit positions they need. Have good players at key positions (Matic and Fabregas will keep them competitive) and if they snatch up Stones, they're set at CB for years to come.

Real Madrid - Most of their good players besides Benzema and Ronaldo are 26 and under, so they'll be fine.

Barcelona/AC Milan - Barcelona will be amazing for the next 2 years I think, but will slow down as Suarez will be in his thirties and their youth system has been faltering in recent years. Milan have foreign investment now and one of the best youth systems in the world. Just need to use it properly.

Top teams in the near future??
I guess, it's going to be Juventus, Bayern, Chelsea, Madrid and Barcelona or United.
One might call me biased for putting United there, but frankly speaking we have some really formidable youth talents.
Depay will be at his prime at that point of time(provided that Madrid or some else won't snatch him). Shaw, Darmian, Wilson, Janujaz, schneiderlin(I am expecting him to grow even further) and many others.

I kind of see Barcelona regressing once Messi slows down. It can be anywhere between Barcelona, United and Milan IMO.

That's not how it works. The market value of a player continuously shifts, frankly a player market pretty much functions the same way like the stock market.

The individual quality of the player is only half the thing. What's evenly important, or even more, is the context in which he plays.

When Chelsea bought Hazard he was very young, playing for Lille a French sub team and the only competition he was familiar with, was the French one. De Bruyne currently has played in Belgium, England and Germany and he crucial in winning prizes in both Belgium and Germany. He currently holds the record of having given the most assists in one season in Germany, he nearly single handedly made Wolfsburg vice champion, lead them to the Pokal and the Champion's league. He was involved in more than half of the actions that lead to their goals. They chose him as the best player of the Bundesliga which forms with the Primera Division and the Premier League the three largest football competitions in Europe.

Pedro then played as far as I know nearly his entire life for Barcelona where he almost always functioned as a super sub. The situations of both Pedro and Hazard at the moment they transferred, were quite different from that of De Bruyne. If someone would try to buy Hazard right now, it's probably going to be a lot more than 55m.

The problem with United is not their lack of talent, but that for some reason they don't really produce the results you would expect. How much money did United spend the past two seasons? And what did they achieve? The conclusion is that so far they preformed quite poorly compared to what they should have achieved for that amount of money.
