After using a genjutsu, I would perform this tech. Like you said, it is too easy and straight forward to attack head on. So I would need a distraction. Something to keep their focus off me.
When the opponent is distracted, I would use this technique.
Blow it away with wind, or simply douse the paper tags with water.
It's pretty basic, but maybe useful at times? Probably not, I am just trying to see the light in the dark here Lol.
I would use this tech at the beginning of a fight, giving off the illusion that I performed the kage bunshin. I would then send the clone over at a different direction than myself, causing my opponent to perform omnidirectional attacks or focus on one or the other.
You really cannot. It is a distraction.
Sensory, dojutsu, look at the ground and see it's feet are not doing anything to the grass.
It's a little of both to be honest Lol.
