This right here. Me, my mom, dad, and three of my 4 brothers are all dark complected but my youngest brother is of a lighter complexion then the rest of us. My grandfather from my dad's side as is his sister (my aunt) are light complected as well. Just because you have one black and one white parent doesn't always mean the child will be light complected. It's common sure, but not 100% guaranteed a mixed race child is going to be born of a lighter complexion.I don't think you do at all. Cho-Cho can be any color. I've seen half black kids as dark as their black parent and I've seen half kids as light as the parent from the other race but most of the time it's a caramel color.
Mixed people do not have a set skin-tone even though caramal is the most common.
