Why Is Cho-Cho black... her mother's skin color? That's stupid. Since she is interracial, she should have a lighter skin tone and not her mother's skin tone.

Do YOU understand genetics?? Because there are dominant and recessive genes. The gene associated with skin color has dominance over lighter skin colors. So it's not neccisary they blend the skin color. It could happen but it's not set in stone. I've seen white women give birth to kids that were darker than their father.

Genetics man. She inherited her skin color from her mother's gene pool while taking her other facial features from her father. Interracial kids don't necessarily have to be a mixture of skin colors. It all depends on which gene pool is more dominant, the mother's or the father's.

Karui clearly has the dominant genes in the relationship. Considering that Chocho enjoys binge-eating- it's safe to assume that her cute size more like her father's is an environmental change.

I don't think you do at all. Cho-Cho can be any color. I've seen half black kids as dark as their black parent and I've seen half kids as light as the parent from the other race but most of the time it's a caramel color.

Mixed people do not have a set skin-tone even though caramal is the most common.

No, what Kishi doesn't understand is genetic linkage, aka Inojin's clashing hair/skin colors. There's even a name for this trope: Patchwork Kids, that is, lazily slapping parents' traits together for kids' designs.

No, she shouldn't be. It merely means she inherited her mother's genes because they might've been more dominant than Choji's. Not all interracial children are lighter than their black parent.

That's not how it works, you don't just take the two skin tones and meld them into one you buffoon.

Chocho looks fine lol. I've met other mixed kids in many shades from light creamy yellow (my tone now) to darkest chocolate. I was a lot darker as a child. A medium caramel shade. Google mixed black kids and see how many shades you see lol.

This right here. Me, my mom, dad, and three of my 4 brothers are all dark complected but my youngest brother is of a lighter complexion then the rest of us. My grandfather from my dad's side as is his sister (my aunt) are light complected as well. Just because you have one black and one white parent doesn't always mean the child will be light complected. It's common sure, but not 100% guaranteed a mixed race child is going to be born of a lighter complexion.

Chou Chou's skin pigment comes from her mother's gene which are dominant in this case.
