I do not believe this counts, but my relationship has been going on for around 2 months. It's ironic since my GF currently is an online relationship with Akiza, also known as KakashiThunder in the old days, that is a sensei and captain of the rping on this site. Kinda weird at first, but hey I can say that I like her with the same amount of love and kindness as a man can have a girlfriend that lives across the street. Long distance relationships are never easy, nor exactly cool since it always feels like it's a fling or a flirt-romance.What kind of girlfriend / boyfriend do you have? And how much do you love them? Honesty is the key my friends.
She is a kind, funny, nice, and pretty weird girl to be with. I like everything about her since she pretty much qualifies for all the things I like in a girl. Humor, personality towards others, and originality which are all good traits to my eyes. Like I said, I love her as much as a long distance relationship will allow. I would love to see her in person, but a man or woman (if you want to think about it from her perspective) can only wish so much.
Honesty is prolly the worst thing of a relationship. I'm sorry to say, but it's true. I don't care how much you say your honest with your partner, you always have a skeleton in your closet. That is what keeps a relationship together, lies that will help you and not bother the other. I'm not saying "No baby, I never slept with her" while the other girl is on your bed half naked. I mean white lies that don't matter or make you seem a bit more tolerable. No woman wants a open book.
This is my own opinion, if 100% of women tell me that they want a man that will tell them everything, and I mean everything! Then I will change my opinion of women.
I think the key is just affection. You can show however much you can, but don't overload your man or woman with it. No one likes clingy pets for partners. I show my affection with reliability. You need me? I'm there. If I need you, you are there. That is that.
