[Question] [Suggestion] Delete Accounts?

Is there a way for a user to be able to delete their own account, and clearing all of their post , and contributions from the site.
- like delete all of their thread
-post
-pictures
Etc.
Like a detox
Just asking.
If not shouldn't a user be able to delete themselves as opposed to having to be deleted?

Apparently if that was an option, it would mess up the database numbers and whatnot, also hence why they don't delete people's accounts very often, or only do it on extremely rare occasions.

Seeing as how our avatars have a post counter
I was just asking, if I where to leave a site I would feel uncomfortable with my legacy on it. Without me being here

There is, yes. The option is possible with the correct plug-in, but from what I believe Zise and the other admins don't want to add the feature, and that is up to them.

OT: They rarely delete accounts at all so this might be deeper and more technical than it appears.

It's a logical question.
I just want to know , or
Suggest , if you delete or ban and user why not truly do it.
Or have the ability to do it your self

No there is no such future and there will never be such future either. If you want to leave nb simply do not log in again, also this has been questioned before so i suggest next time you ask something you read other threads first in case they are of the same topic. It is, however up to admins to decide when/if this will be a thing but from what i know there are no plans to imply the feature.
