Of course he healed himself, anyone with Rikudou chakra can. Blind Madara tanked Amaterasu like it was nothing and he didn't use Hashi's healing to do so

Wood release is not automatically gained. Healing of hashi cells is automatically effective like blind madara and hashirama

Why didn't Naruto heal Boruto's burnt arm if his chakra cloak can heal just by being in it?

When Nagato had gray hair as a edo he used preta path and was able to restore his body to the point he could walk agian and had red hair.

Sasuke using preta path to absorb Naruto chakra makes sense to me since Naruto looked surprised that Sasuke got up after being burned.

What the thread maker said could true but I don't get why Naruto looked so surprised in that scene.

I can't really say for certain if Sasuke healed himself, but it looks as if he started to heal when he was placed inside the avatar, right after Naruto went all badass and wrecked a few Wood dragons and a lava phoenix.

Sasuke then tries to calm him down by holding his arm, Naruto then grins at him and then they go double team. So bleh

I knew what happened when I first saw the scene, sasuke was out. These people claiming he healed himself didn't even see the movie. Sasuke was in agony and couldn't even stand, his eyes were shut. Only after Naruto caught him did moments he got up anew.
