Knights of Sidonia

So I picked up interesting anime on Netflix "title ^" and I was surprised how good it actually was, it follows manga written by Tsutomu Nihei.

The story follows the exploits of Nagate Tanikaze, who lived in the underground layer of Sidonia since birth and was raised by his grandfather. Never having met anyone else, he trains himself in an old Guardian pilot simulator every day, eventually mastering it. After his grandfather's death, he emerges to the surface and is selected as a Guardian pilot, just as Sidonia is once again threatened by the Gauna. Gunas are like a space dragons.

I recommend everyone to give it a go, I personally am I big fan of that kind of Space/mecha anime!!

Animation might feel little dodgy at first but it will get better.

First few episodes we're avarage, but I sticked around for longer and it became my heroin.

IMDB/Myanimelist gave it 8/10 for a reason

Yeah its awesome, its been quite sometime since i saw a worthwhile mecha anime after Valvrave, with the 2nd second season of fafner exodus along with the new gundam anime coming this fall.... 2015 is good year for mecha genre.

Knight of Sidonia was actually a pretty decent anime I've came across. I never thought I find a relatively new anime that was enjoyable.

I'm already reading this and it is good, not the best work by Nihei but a great Mecha, his art is fantastic in the manga.
