here are some facts heard from Naruto manga that clearly didn't meet expectations or were simply all lies!!
1. Chidori: a justus created by Hatake Kakashi (close-range attack). this justus was said to be incomplete because a shinobi that attacks head on with increase speed can barely the opponent's counter-attack. It only became complete when sharigan was adding, allowing the user to doge at the last second and hit with precision. e.g: Gaara vs Sasuke at chuunin exam, remember that fight?

Question: If that's the reason behind it being incomplete, What about Naruto's rasengan? it's also a head on attack in which the user can't doge the opponent's counter-attack. what made Rasengan acceptable for a normal shinobi and chidori being unacceptable for others? please, explain.

At the chunin exam and many clashes between sasuke and naruto. we always see the two chackra cancelling themselves in one clash. Sasuke that has the sharigan at that time, how come he could not doge naruto rasenga and hit his heart with chidori??? I mean he has the sharigan!!!

Rasengan: is a wind style jutsus and according to Manga facts, wind style is stronger than lightning style. remember what Yamato said to naruto at Naruto's training?? so how come whenever he clashes with sasuke, their strenghs cancel each other. you can't tell me fire will win against water. also sasuke proved the different between lightning style and earth style.

Lastly they say whenever you fight an uchiha, one shouldn't look at their eyes. How many times have we seen sasuke battling eye to eye many shinobis (from fodders to A-class ninjas) with no advantages??? i thought genjutsus was their thing!?

can someone help answering these questions? (this is me, venting out on manga fatcs)

As others have pointed out, Rasengan does not have a chakra nature. You are thinking of the incomplete version
of rasenshuriken that Naruto had developed and used upon Kakuzu.

Regarding another point, speed is a necessary component for the chidori to gain maximum power. Rasengan
doesn't get stronger as the user runs faster. Furthermore, the lightning combined with the speed creates
a tunnel vision that makes it hard for the user to react without the sharingan while fast speed with the rasengan
does not share the same problem.

Rasengan and chidori clashing everytime is for stylistic effect and to show equal power. Sasuke could dodge
the rasengan although that also makes it possible for Naruto to hit Sasuke directly as well, making it a KO
to both parties although it's possible Sasuke would dodge that too. Once Naruto got SM though, both of them
could dodge, but end up having to block each others attack with their own once again.

Other possibility is that the rasengan and chidori clashing allows the two to 'feel' each other's hearts so that's why
they want to do it that way.

Lol because chidori is a piercing attack. You have to build up speed to be more effective.

The sharingan gives the user an advantage as they can pinpoint vital areas of the enemy or else they wont die from the attack.

really? says who? Rasengan is a wind style jutsus. prove me wrong.

Rasengan is the rotation of chakra

Kakashi is lightning style yet he was able to do Rasengan

Jiraiya is fire nature

He can do it

Wind style added to rasengan results in rasen shuriken

wind nature added creates rasen shuriken

isn't that a wind style jutsu? remember when temari was looking for a strong wind-user to face the third raikage, what did naruto use? the rasen shiruken. meaning a wind style jutsu. how can you guys even doubt about it when so many characters have spoken about it.

U said Rasengan is a wind style jutsu

Rasen shuriken is rasengan with wind nature added to it

So rasen shuriken is a wind style jutsu
Not Rasengan

Chidori was incomplete due to the way the user tried to land the hit....High-speed movement to the point of causing tunnel vision.

Speed isn't needed for Rasengan.

Rasengan is not wind manipulation...it's just chakra with shape manipulation. When wind chakra is added it becomes this...

Kishimoto never had Naruto clash this with Chidori for obvious reasons.

not sure if a trolling about rasengan or not. also regarding chidori I was under the impression that it isn't a counter attack to be worried about, but rather without sharingan the user suffers from tunnel vision and can't aim it properly

maybe i was wrong. i thought rasengan was a wind style. but still when you look at chunin exam and many other clashes with naruto. sasuke had the advantage of dodging the rasengan with his sharigan and laying a big blow to naruto with his chidori. that at least to me makes sense.

this was just a way of warning a Sharingan user's opponent to be wary of the possibility of Sharingan genjutsu being used against them.

really? says who? Rasengan is a wind style jutsus. prove me wrong.

"The Rasengan was created with the intent to be combined with the user's elemental affinities, a task too difficult for Minato to complete before his death. Kakashi, his student, tried to add his Lightning Release chakra to the Rasengan, but was unable to and explained that he used the basic idea to create the Chidori and its more advanced counterpart, the Lightning Cutter, which require a certain point of shape and nature manipulation itself.[5] Naruto was the first to add his Wind Release affinity to his Rasengan to create the Wind Release: Rasengan, which was shortly advanced into the Wind Release: Rasenshuriken." ( )

It's hard for me to find any scans from the manga to prove my point considering every website I used to visit has Naruto taken off due to copyright issues.

Rasengan is chakra molded into the shape of a ball. It is as Jiraiya explained Naruto, Shape manipulation. In both the manga and the anime, Naruto learned how to do the Rasengan by feeding chakra into a ball without it popping. Furthermore, Naruto learned Rasengan in part one and didn't even learn about "Elemental Chakra" or in Naruto's case, Wind Release until Naruto Shippuden.

In the fight with Kakazu and Hidan, Naruto first demonstrates his Wind Release: Rasengan jutsu, which was a Rasengan in the shape of a Shuriken. This was his first time ever doing it.

in addition to what others have said it can be made much bigger and difficult to counter. and if you notice unless it's in that form it kind of had the chidori weakness maybe not as obvious but with more attention you'll see that characters that use the rasengan have other characteristics to make it more effective. minato had FTG. jiraiya had sagemode. naruto used kage bushin. all of these guys used something. you dont see kakashi spaming rasengan because i dont think he has anything in his arsenal to enhance it effectiveness. that's just my opinion

Well! Whatever the case is, the rasengan is the base form to the tail beast bomb as stated by killer Bee when training Naruto. So Naruto is actually getting screwed when it come to clashing with chidori because if it's a base form to a pure chakra ttb then anything on the other side of this chakra should be ash...
