Himawari Byakugan special gaiden

In the special gaiden, Himawari unlocks the Byakugan in her eyes, even though
she wasnt born with the pale looking eyes.

What do you think of this happening?

Would it have been better if she was born with the pale eyes Byakugan,
or do you consider being born with normal blue eyes and being able to activate Byakugan, to be better?

Should Boruto get Byakugan somewhere during his life too?

True and False. Kishi stated himself that he "Forgot" to draw both Boruto and Himawari with the Byakugan. So like Sixth Hokage 06 stated that part was Retcon and as you stated, in order to reconcile this, it was used as a joke.

Will Boruto get the Byakugan?......He could....He won't......but he could.

Better than her looking like an alien, the reason himmawari is different is because for normal hyuga, both their parents had normal pale eyes so of course the child would, himmawari is different because one parent has blue eyes and the other pale so if it's possibly for Sarada to be half uchiha and still get a sharnningan then it should be possible for himmawari to unlock byakugan even if it was only used to solo the yellow haired wonders :Sparks:

So with who did Hamura have children? If its not an Otsutsuki with Byakugan or some jutsu to reproduce asexually, than his children are half Hyuuga.

Lets say he had a boy and a girl. These would have to have children with each other to keep the bloodline pure.

And how do you think the sharingan originated? It came from the rinnegan and sharingan (that Kaguya possessed), both dojutsu that can't be deactivated. Making a descendant from Hagoromo and Hamura's lineage awaken a byakugan that can deactivate isn't a retcon, it just means it has evolved.
