If Hashirama saw Tsunade - his granddaughter at the age of about 8, then it means he was about 48 years minimum.
If we take the age of 20 when Hashirama had a child and 40 when his child was 20 and also had a child and then another 8 years for Tsunade to grow up.

Hashiramas and Tobirama were 40s-50s when they died. Also, Hashirama remembering Tsuande is a huge damn plot hole, he shouldn't even know who she is.

Wood termites in his loins.

You guys are crazy if you think Hashirama was in his 30s/40s when he died. The man is old, and tobirama is not 5 years apart, he is almost the same age as his brother. At least a 1-2 yr difference at best.

Hashirama and Tobirama are probably ages between their 50s and 60s. They may not look old, but thats just kishi at times. Look at jiraya and orochimaru, they look no different than their younger days. Hashirama is a grandfather and was alive to know his grand daughter. Theres no way he died in his 30s lol.
Orochimaru looks young because of his Jutsus. Jiraiya looks as if he might slip from over a banana peel and land in a grave; he looks like a fit old geezer.

Hashirama may have wedded his son or daughter at a very young age. Possibly 14 to 16. That would make him a Grand father in his thirties.

I don't think they are that old. Tobirama was 24 when he killed Izuna. Suppose, it took a year for Izuna to die and Madara to awaken Perfect Susanoo, Konoha would be created when he was 25. Madara did not stay in Konoha for more than 5 years and he fought Hashirama sometime in the next 5 years. That makes Tobirama 35 at most. Than a few years until Hashirama died and Tobirama became Hokage. And he was Hokage for no more than 5 years. Also, I am generous by giving 5 years. So, Tobirama should not be older than 45 and Hashirama should not be older than 48.

Assuming, Hashirama had a child when he was 20 and Tsunade was born 20 years after Hashirama's child was born, Hashirama would die when Tsunade was 8. So, both Hashirama and Tobirama were a few years over 40 at most.

And if you look at other characters, you will see that older people do appear older, unless they are using some technique. Jiraiya looks quite older than Hashirama and Tobirama. Tsunade when not using her Jutsu looks quite old, Kakashi and Guy appear older. Kurenai looks older too. Mei looks older, so does Darui and other characters.
Those are ridiculous estimates you are giving. Hashirama did not have a grandchild in his 40s . So what if madara did not stay long? You dont know how long he left the village, you dont know how many years until he fought hashirama again, it could have been 10 yrs. You dont know how long hashirama lived after defeating ,adara eier. That could have been another 10 yrs before he died.

Hashirama and tobirama knew hiruzen as a child. Tobirama saw him grow up to his mid-late 20s. Tobirama was definitely in his 60s or so. Hashirama knowing about tsuandes strength means she also grew old enough to learn such ninja techniques

No jiraya and orochimaru do not look older than hashirama and tobirama.

The problem with the timeline is the ages of Hiruzen and the Sannin. Hiruzen was a teenager when he became Hokage, and was 69 when he died. We know Hiruzen is 19 years older than the Sannin. That means Hashirama had to alive to see Tsnua use CES, but also dead by the time Hiruzen became Hokage, and Tobirama after him.

You'd have to squeeze to make it all fit. That's assuming it does at all.
Hiruzen was not a teenager when he became hokage. He was in his late 20s already. Databoom confirms torifu at that time was late 20s while kagami was already 25.

By plot.

Which makes no sense apparently he died in war but then again....when u think about it how could a man who defeated Madara twice die....with Wood release and that 1000(?) hands Wood monster...
Large summons aren't really effective against smaller, faster targets...

Actually this isn't entirely correct, Hiruzen became kage in his after Tobirama died, also hashirama was able to compare tsunade's strength to Sakura meaning Tsunade would've already been of an age where hashi could gauge that, if we use Sarada then around 12, hiruzen died in in his seventies I'm skeptical to say sixties because Orochimaru said if he was twenty years younger he could've killed him, so that's around 40-50, 40 being better since it's middle age but still got some prime. Andhe became kage in his thirties since he would've needed time to train the sannin so he definitely wouldn't have been in his twenties because jiraya was probably in his late fifties taking into account he didn't have much wrinkled skin but was still old enough to be a sage, if we take this all into account the hashi madara battle was roughly 40-50 years ago if we're using naruto's age at 15 mid shippiden, 15 years ago he was born and Kurams was sealed in him, hirizen would've been in his late 50s pr late 60s as he was just showing wrinkles and didn't look majorly aged so late 50s is about right. Of he became kage around his 30s thej that twenties, years ago, the sannin were already trained and tobirama was still young before he died keep in mind he was an adult in the clan warring era meaning if sarutobi trained under hashirama and tobirama as explained then hiruzen had to be alive during the madara vs hashi battle And old enough to be trained by hashi and tobirama taking this into account it's possible that tobirama died 5-10 years after the madara vs hashi fight. Meaning the fight could've taken place 40-50 years ago not as long ago as you think.

Hashirama probably died from his life being shortened, Hashi's sage mode was capable of healing hashi throughout his battles however, hashi was born into the warring era and he's fought a lot, and it was explained that the body can only reproduce cells so many times do this could've been a factor, madara had the mazou to continue his life so he outlived hashirama.
Hashi compared a Toddler Tsunade's strength to War Arc Sakura's, remember, when he thought of Tsunade, he thought of her when she was just a little kid :lmao:
That must've been the latest recollection of her age, unless he was an absentee grandparent
