I live in Southern Ontario (a province of Canada
) and every winter is getting colder and lasting longer. I used to love winters growing up but now it gets to -25 to -30C most days of the winter season and it is frustrating.
Sometimes I just feel like moving somewhere warmer and even though its a cliche, California sounds perfect except for the high population. Florida is also a good option but I hear its too humid and I'm worried about the coastal storms. The southwest like New Mexico would be pretty good as well.
The only thing that would stink is leaving all my friends and family behind in Canada. I like my job a lot but I'm dreading the thought of the upcoming winter.
I know that the winters are a lot harsher up North but I get depressed not being able to play tennis, basketball, etc., year round.
I guess, I just wanted to vent but lets make this a good discussion:
Do you feel like moving? If so, where and why do you want to move?
