No it doesn't . A character not having anything written about them does not make them a badly written character when there is no aspect, story, or issue with said character to even write about. It's called being a minor character.

Mikoto and Fugaku are brilliantly written characters. A great deal of their aspects - as characters are yanked out of Greek Tragedy concept. They absolutely check all the requisites by Aristotle in Poetics. It gets no better than this. Their persona unquestionably - attained the constitution of excellent writing. They are characters - full of complexity that test the author's writing readiness for valuable literature.

I know this because my natural genius, superior education compared to the apes of NB, English Major, Science Major and unrivalled intellect concretely - allow me to study all facets of Literature. If you disagree - you're not smart, like I am.

Kishi himself stated in an interview somewhere long before this he intended for them to have it, but ended up forgetting to draw it. So we always knew he was going to retcon it in somehow.

I do really hope he gives them to Boruto as well, because then if he gets with Sarada, their kid would have one Byakugan and one Sharingan, which would look so cool.
