Only Madara was revived at a state past his prime/ at a different age. I don't remember Orochimaru mentioning anything special when he revived Hashirama and Tobirama. So I think they were revived at the same age they died, like everyone else.

So you are saying someone came when Hashi had fainted and did him ? Possible yes but unlikely.

I am not saying its entirely impossible but unlikely. Tobirama was only mentioned preserving body of Madara. If Hashirama died (given that his DNA is one of the most coveted things of NV), surely it would have been mentioned.

You're right. I did find it odd that BZ said that Tobirama took charge of studying and later burying Madara's body and not Hashirama. It seems the burial part, at least should've been something Hashi would do.

According to tsunade they(1st and 2nd) went of into war never to return. Now the only one who could kill hashirama who was unrivalled would be madara. With him in a war it would be over quite fast so he had to be taken out.

Madara died of extended old age, which allowed Indra to "infect" Sasuke.

So I'm guessing the same, or something similar, had to happen to Hashirama.

I don't think Indra and Ashura were like: "Hmmm...let's possess these now, wait, shit my brother got somewhere sooner? DAMN YOOOUUU!!"

I swear i read that he died in war after the madara fight. I doubt that he died after Tobirama. I think that tusnade mentioned that all the men she loved had a dream of being kage and also died in war or something to that effect.

I would say sickness....no ONES POWERFUL ENOUGH TO KILL HIM AFTER HE KILLED MADARA.....and his edo tensu form was not old like the 3rd hokage...

i think self-restriction had a lot to do with it. If a person were to look at his arsenal, the offensive techs he had were liable to endanger ppl that were fighting on his side. I personally believe his performance in the 4th Great Shinobi War reflects that.

he did. The first DB says he was killed after retiring from being Hokage.

Due to takin into consideration kishi's style nd the fact that hashi still looked young when he was revived , its obvious he died by a virus probably due to inner workings of his body/healing factor , similarly to kimimaro.

The plot nerfed her with him, so she only hurt him badly,which is why he was still alive.
