Does anyone think that the naruto series is beginning to lack a bit of consistency? When Kakashi fought Pain he used very few jutsus, yet his chakra levels were almost depleted even before he used his Mangekyou Sharingan. I would therefore assume that his lightning style shadow clone used a lot of chakra and he used it so that Pain would not be able to detect the clone.

How then did Konohamaru's shadow clone go unnoticed by the great rinnegan? Shouldn't have been easy for it to detect it, if even the sharingan can detect most clones?

If the lightning clone didn't deplete Kakashi's chakara, then what did? He's fought many battles using shadow clones, yet to me this looks like the quickest his chakra has ever depleted.

Lastly, I think its pretty lame that Konohamaru is able to use such a high level jutsu. Kinda makes you wonder why more skilled ninja weren't able to use it. Whats also weird is how the one rinnegan took out a body of Pain, when in the past it couldn't even eliminate Kabuto when naruto used it.

Lightning clone took almost all Kakashi's chakra and Kakashi knew that His other Jutsus would be useless against Pain.

kakashi used raikiri, and that earth dog move, then the clone (which he always said it toke allot of him ) and then he started using a raikiri but the akimichi team entered the scene.
also when you get attacked you loose chakra, due to chakra behing made with spiritual and fisical power, and so if you get kicked around you loose chakra.

the rinnegan his better used with several bodies and pain underestimated konohamaru.
Also where did you see Naraka path being beaten by that chibby rasengan?
you just saw konohamaru hitting him with it.
And konohamaru is a sarutobi he should learn cool jutsu

Its not lacking consistency at all, nothing is perfect.

Kakashi used a lightning clone, which took half his chakra... And only SAVED his life, a shadow clone is completely different and much easier to use.

I agree with you on konohamaru's shadow clone technique, but he did come from behind a building being hidden for a while which was probably when he made two.

I also agree with you on the part of konohamaru knowing how to use rasengan, even that he learned naruto's way of a ninja and has guts to never give up(all though he almost did, Naruto never hesitated).

I believe that was the first time naruto first used the rasengan when he hit kabuto, so it wasnt very strong, as you see in the manga when naruto and sasuke collide, a long awaited second time, the manga says, "rasengan and chidori, How strong have they gotten?!" so over time your chakra manipulation and control improves, like when somebody grows up they improve.

I also dont understand how people like kabuto couldnt use rasengan, all it is, is attracting chakra into your hand, and he is a sensory type ninja, who have the best chakra control i would believe.

Naruto hesitated right at the beginning when team 7 first meat zabuza, but then reacted and attacked with sasuke.
so its normal that konohamaru hesitates, it's Pain after all

kabuto's not a sensory type, he just as great chakra control and great medical ability

I agree with what most of you've said about Kakashi's chakra.

About Konohamaru, learning Rasengan was not extraordinary/lame. Naruto also did the same when he was around Konohamaru's age, Besides he is from sarutobi and for the to be seventh hokage, i say its quite suited(also being Naruto's student). About Kabuto, before Rasengan hit the spot, he concentrated most of his chakra to the spot where Rasengan hit him and healed as fast as he could. If he hadn't been a good medical nin, he would had been dead.

konohamaru Rasengan was the waekest it didnt even take down him naruto took down the one pain with one hand tied benid his back
