"Momoshiki's naming is based on japanese myth as typical for kishi. In this case, momoshiki is named after momotaro the peach boy, a kid sent from heaven to a childless couple; he later goes on to an entire island of onis with a pheasant, a dog and a monkey and kicks the living crap out of all the onis. Same with Kinshiki- he's named after Kintaro, "golden boy", who is the son of some mountain witch and a dragon, who as a child wrestled bears and as an adult was a retainer of minamoto yorimitsu"
