What are you opinions on the luck required to be able to win in YuGiOh? Over the time Konami realized they can milk people and now they are making Meta decks which are based on tiers, tier 1 is the most OP shit ever and it doesn't matter how you open you basically do what everyone else does and win, which I call skill-less victory because you just memorize 2 things to win.
In other times to win because of hax, you opponent opens with a Dark Hole and a Raigeki or a Bottomless Trap Hole and Solemn Warning.
I would say it is 30% luck. But that 30% luck can be lethal in some situations.

I wouldn't say that luck is a huge factor in YGO, I think 30% is a bit too much, I'd say it's 5-10% luck.
Sure, whether you have a good hand or not does play a role but nowadays it's not so much as "Hope to draw the level 4 with 1900 ATK points" but most meta decks are quite fast and involve a lot of deck searching. Top tier players use their decks to the best of their ability, even if they start out with a hand that is considered bad.

I have to admit that there were quite a bit of times where I did use a top tier deck but still lost due to having a terrible hand.
