So I've been a NB member since 2012, and I use to be active on the daily basis. If theirs anybody reading this post, and you remember, or know who I am, you may remember that I'm an animal lover, and have owned exotic animals since I was a child
I've owned so many unique animals that I can't complete this list. If you go back to my replys under "show us yourself" that should be clear since I have pictures posted of my pet squirrel.
Anyways now I have my dream job I get to work at a zoo. I take care of the animals here. It's not like a state zoo. More like a small owned one, but they still have hundreds of exotic animals. Tigers, bears wolves, monkeys, water buffalo, hyaena, gazelle, giraffe and lots of other animals you'd find indigenous to Africa. kudamandis. They even have a couple of hybrid animal here that a cross between a zebra and a horse, and a donkey and a horse. They're called Zorses, and Zonkeys.
It's awesome though I get to play with Luna, which is their tiger that's still in its teens, their wolves which are my favorite, their kudamandis which is awesome even though I owned one because I was so young at the time. They even have a completely white peacock(male, and female) and those are pretty rare.hell they even have regular ol'dogs and cats here.
The owners are two gay men that are cool as hell as well, and they pay good. Depending on the job they pay up to 25$ an hour which is really good in North Carolina.
Anyways just thought I'd share this, and wanted to see if you guys thinks I should take some photos of the animals, then incorporate them into the NB photo contest?
(snakes(venomous copper heads, burmese Pythons, ball pythons, red tailed boas, green snakes, bull snakes, hognose snakes, a variety of eastern milk snakes, scarlett King snakes, Californian King snakes, eastern King snakes, garter snakes, ring neck snakes, and so many more that I can't even remember all of them) legless lizards, two toed amphiuma(which is a snake-like lizard with two small front legs), glass lizards, Carolina great horned owl(that I rescued from the road, and nursed back to health after it flew Into a vehicle of some sort), geckos, bearded dragons, caimans(sort of like a crocodile that only gets 6ft long, they were babies though), sugar gliders, spider monkeys(which I barely remember since I was so young), emus( hated those bastards, they're like ostriches), kudamandis/coatimundi( cross between an ant eater, and a raccoon) possum, raccoons, exotic bird's, turtles(snapping, mud, spotted, painted, and a whole lot of others))
