He's not like Itachi and he trains his way up similar to Naruto but better since he's more intelligent. It's like what Naruto said back then. Naruto isn't Ashura and Sasuke isn't Indra.

I got perfect score in archery in Middle school! I had straight As in middle school. I could practically take a computer apart and put it back together with my eyes close at the age of 11! I could do a lil programming at a young age. But I'm not no prodigy like mark zuckerberg! Mark Zuckerberg mastered ABC programming language at the age of 8!
A prodigy is somebody that can walk into kung fu gym and master everything at a fast pace without the desire to master it! Just master shit for fun with no struggle at all. Sasuke struggled as a kid, but just master it faster than normal people! Meanwhile Itachi just master it with no reason to master it!
Bottom line, a prodigy is somebody that can master things easily without a desire to master it or have to struggle it to master it.
Sasuke is no prodigy at all. Everything he mastered, it was to become stronger than Itachi, impress his father, or stronger than Naruto! He never mastered anything for himself or for fun!
Sasuke is talented and a genius, but no prodigy at all!

Sigh. I'm away for weeks and come back to this nonsense. Where did you get your definition of prodigy? Minato's dream was to be hokage. That = motivation. Yet he is a prodigy. Or are you denying that? Madara's motivation was to protect his brothers and the Uchiha clan. He is a prodigy.
Sasuke working just as hard for chakra control does not make him not a prodigy. Nobody says everything comes easy. Just most. Minato worked hard on his rasengan but couldn't add nature manipulation to his rasengan(yet naruto could). Doesn't make Minato not a prodigy. Even Itachi desired to protect Konoha. That is a goal.

That's the most ridiculous logic ever. By your logic Boruto isn't a prodigy because he works hard to reach his goal in surpassing his father. All prodigies work hard to reach their max potential, they're just better at doing it than others. And their ceiling is usually higher.

Prodigies are people that create things or fully understand things after witnessing it once or twice for the first time ever! Itachi shut down Edo nagato in seconds is the definition of a prodigy. Kakashi creating the chidori is the definition of a prodigy.
What the F Sasuke had done at a young age that nobody else couldn't done? Sasuke and Neji are on the same boat. They both are geniuses and talented people! If Neji was still on his dark path after fighting Naruto, he would've been strong as ems Sasuke!
Didn't Sakura get perfect grades in school and mastered chakra control before both of them? By y'all logic, Sakura is a prodigy too!

Umm I never once said Bolt is not a prodigy. He is a prodigy since he created his own jutsu at a young age according to the movie!
Prodigies redefine shit at a young age! Sasuke didn't redefine shit at a young age! He is just talented and a genius!
first he didnt create his own jutsu. second, you didnt say it but by using your logic, he isnt prodigy because boruto finds trouble as he learns something with sasuke uchiha prodigy who is genius, he even says "isnt there an easier way".

Kakashi break down out Obito's kami and tangable shit work is the definition of "genius"
combining Rasengan and chidori at a young age is the definition of "prodigy"!
Find a better way to achieve result or create better result. Shit.. By this logic, We can say Naruto is a prodigy for thinking up of using an extra shadow clone to create the rasengan at a young age!
