What are your thoughs on DBZ Super so far?

I think it's k, after three episodes they still seem to be cashing on the nostalgia factor instead of any sort of plot progression.

I am talking about the anime that is, the manga is pretty good actually and seem to be giving a different perspective on things happening(that anime doesn't).

I've enjoyed the manga a lot more.

Even though I know what is going to happen, because of the movies, the way the story is being told is really good. Let's hope it keeps me interested all the way through.

Wow my friend actually just reminded me about DBZS recently and I watched the latest 3 episodes out and kinda feel like they seem have just been cashing in on the movie within much plot progression.

It seems like we're watching clips of the movie and how it worked out.. basically just added scenes to it IMO.

I plan on binge reading the manga today to catch up.
DBZ has always been a favorite and it seems like the writings, or at least the animators give you the amount of action and witty banner still. Its cool in my eyes. I just hope it all isn't about Berus and we see many more elements of the universe like a Whis origin.

Few questions:

Who is the dinosaur guy Beerus mentions being sent to destroy Earth?

So the Gods need to touch their handler in order to fly? Because Bill's/Beerus and the other guy both had a hand on the back of their handler when flying.

So now it was Beerus that ordered Frieza to kill all the saiyans and it wasn't out of his disgust and fear of the Super Saiyan?

Doo all the gods and handlers look the same or do you think Beerus/Whys and these new two share a personal connection?

I think they were just latching onto handlers cause they are faster, in the movie Whis one shot Beerus in the end, can time travel and told goku he's a lifeform called Whis when goku asked just what is he. They operate differently from everyone else. They all prolly look similar too, rest would be either plot or later explained in the manga I think.

Yeah I wasn't sure if the Dinosaur guy was a reference to earlier work that I forgot about or if it was something new. I don't remember Goku and co. ever fighting a Dino-guy.
