People seem to think Gentle fist cant be used by Boruto just because he lacks Byakugan which is false. There's 2 ways to use gentle fist. One is open palm while the other isn't and more precise.

Gentle fist is possible so long as he has the KKG that allows him to expel chakra from every tenketsu in his body. He wouldn't be as precise as Neji or regular hyuga as they can pin-point their attacks.

Despite that, his open palm gentle fist should be unaffected by the lack of byakugan if he remembers the general composition of the chakra pathway system.

If he's the prodigy he's hyped out to be he may even be able to use gentle fist properly.​

That's one possibility. The others are

A. He has some of the Byakugan's power naturally in his eyes(albeit degraded).

B. He's using the Chinese martial art that gentle fist is based on. I don't know what it's called, but I've seen other characters in fiction use it (such as Rin and Kirei from Fate/Stay Night). It uses acceleration to mess up organs I think.

Even if he he remembers the general composition of the chakra pathway system, I'm sure a person's chakra path ways and Tenketsu locations are different depending on Body size/shape, Weight and height.

I don't see a problem with him using the flat palm style to attack organs since they are pretty easy to target but i Highly doubt he will be able to use the precise style and actually target Tenketsu points effectively or use moves like 32/64 palms. He might be able to hit the odd few but no where near as efficient as a byakugan holder.

No, no it wasn't. Pre 671, we saw the sage talking specifically to Naruto. Unless you wanted Sasuke to see the sage, there was no reason to believe that he would see the sage until 671, when we saw him.

I think he'd be fine if he palms the general area. Even shallow hits are enough to do damage

How does someone with Byakugan "Hit randomly". Neji just outclassed her which is expected.

its a taijutsu that best used with the byakugan as they allow a person to penetrate and close the chakra points more precisely and effectively.

Anyone can use it however it wont be as effective and rather would damage like as if they were fist fighting.
