Yeah, make reasons but never accept Sasuke actually did that.

Are you an idiot?

He obviously solo'd all those fodders. I'm just positive he used chidori nagashi rather than take his time soloing all those fodders one by one.

Sasuke's an efficient type of guy.

By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defence. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making its muscles contract. This causes the body to involuntarily go stiff, while at the same time receives damage. This attack can also be channelled through the ground to increase the range of the attack.[2]

I'm talking about that feat.

The range of Nagashi is nowhere near that size :| even channeled through the ground.

Without Chidori Nagashi.

We don't know how he did it. All we know is that he did it without spilling blood and it invilved his sword.

I mean do you really think a shrewd tactitian like Sasuke is going to beat up out of 100+ people 2-3 at a time.

That would not only take forever but be annoying as hell.

We don't know for sure, we never seen the extent of the range. Not to mention it's possible that he ran through them with it being active. Hebi Sasuke is pretty fast after all.

"Not even a drop of blood was spilled", Sheer genius.

When Naruto was still about Ninja and not a spam of giant sentinels and big explosions.

Naruto stopped being about ninjas in the land of waves arc...

It literally died with Zabuza and Haku.

At least it still wasn't a spam of giant sentinels and big explosions, managed by only a handful of people. :lol

Sasuke being a shrewd tactician has nothing to do with this. This wasn't an examination of tactics, this was an examination of skills. He was using his skills and precision of swordsmanship to defeat those ninjas without killing them to test and polish those skills. It was basically a self-test of how precise his sword strikes were so as to not kill anyone nor spill any blood, yet defeat them and render them unconscious. If this was related to tactics, then Sasuke's approach would be different.

And regarding the question of whether he used Chidori Nagashi or not, it's simple. Oro wouldn't have praised Sasuke for being a "genius greater than himself" is he simply skimmed through those ninjas with Chidori Nagashi. There is no point in being a genius if that happened. Also, Oro wouldn't express astonishment at "not even a single drop of blood being spilled" if Sasuke used Chidori Nagashi because it's pretty obvious Chidori Nagashi wouldn't spill blood. And obviously, Sasuke used kenjutsu, that's why Oro was even more stunned by no blood spilled.

The most training we've seen him do in this manga/anime was that part right there.

Those were fodders as well and I thought he did die from that? oro cares and called him a genius for it and was not just about the number of opponents. He managed to keep them alive and not a drop of blood was spilled.

it was a cool feat by Sauce but don't use what Oro said to make it look genius-like... we all know Oro has been wanking Uchiha from the very beginning..

OT: 1. We have no prove that Sasuke used only his sword..
2. Saying they numbered up to a thousand is too much even for a hyperbole..
but either ways it was quite cool

You act like he could not have moved around and used it

OT: Speculation.

Which would effect a person more a brief shock or a prolonged one? If Sasuke moved around that quickly with Nagashi only effecting no more than ten feet away from him the ppl wouldn't receive a shock great enough to put them down :lol

The only scenario where ur assumption seems possible is if
#1 the ppl were to stupid to run away from a person walking towards them or

#2 Sasuke thoroughly shocked one group then quickly moved to the next which would mean the victim's were in groups not all over the place

If Sasuke did use Nagashi then the most plausible answer would be as Nips said which was a Nagashi that covered the very wide area.
^I still don't think that's possible though

Oro always referred to the power of the sharigan. Here is refrencing Sasuke being genius for this feat. He even compared himself to Sasuke here in terms of talent and called himself pitiful. The manga couldnt be any more clear that this feat was a stroke of genius.

Not surprised to see the usual lobby try and downplay it

OT.when i first saw that, i had to go back and read again to see the number of folks he put down and it was a lot. am still glad kishi decided to include kenjutsu in his arsenal, it adds so much swagger and flavour to his fighting style. oro calls himself pitiful near sasuke at that age and thats a guy hiruzen hailed as a genius not seen very often. yet here is he, blatantly admitting inferiority in that department to another. speaks volumes tbh

I hope i'm not trying to downplay it. I just gave my input on how he possibly could have done it. I figured Chidori Nagashi was the most efficient way to do it. It incapacitated Naruto in seconds so I figured those fodders would take half the time to go down.

Did I say that was only attack he used? I've been reading your comments and you sound more like a Sasuke fanboy everytime you post. Sasuke has shown incredible foot speed feats in the beginning of part 2, I didn't say that was the only way he defeated them. Learn how to not how to jump to conclusions
