I agree Goku is a better and more interesting character but he loses to Superman. Goku's strength is pretty overrated, there's plenty of anime/manga characters that can defeat him.

Hating comic is like hating anime/manga world. It's the same thing, just made in different places and different people and have different religion [if any].

The thing to keep in mind is that you're used to weak become strong and then the anime/manga is done there. Comics are different. Superman role is not to be the strongest of its verse, it's to fit with other people.

That's like saying Umineko is shit because the characters from that verse are too broken for no reason whatsoever. The story is not aiming to ''omg! from weak to a badass! hoyl shit durr durr durr'', its to discover the mystery, discover what's happening in there and why 'x' and 'y' characters have to do that.

A lot of ppl don't get that the animation scenes really don't matter. All that matters is the facts. Besides if Superman can bench press the earth's weight for five days survive going through a supernova and lift infinity and eternity, and travel billions of times light speed then i don't see what is stopping him from walking through a Kamehameha wave.

I don't think Kamehameha travels at light speed, is heavier than eternity, or is stronger than a supernova so what is the problem?

Superman used to be so OP they nurfed him. Then they had a Zod crisis that was him and his lackeys at pre-nerf Kryptonian level. The only time Superman ever killed (locked them in a room filled with Kryptonite to starve and die).

One Punchman is literally a manga version of superman and he can't lose to anyone. He beats plant busters with ease, but he still is a great character and the plot is good.
