FTG has unlimited range as well as Too many usage While Ameno has limited range with 2-3 times usage.

FTG user can teleport anywhere in the world within a blink of an eye while Ameno user can barely teleport to one room to another room of the same floor of the same building.

This is true. It requires chakra to actually activate the seal for Hirashin. However the post you were originally referring to is also correct. Once the position is marked. The Seal never disappears.

Example:

Back when the Kyuubi attacked Konaha and Minato fought Obito, he marked him with a Hirashin tag. Years later after his death, that same seal was still on Obito which Edo Minato used to deal a fatal blow to Obito after he came out of the Kamui dimension from fighting Kakashi.

However that same seal was also used by Tobirama who teleported Naruto behind JJ Obito to deliver the Senpo Rasengan to his back.

So in essence, you can get unlimited uses out of the Hirashin Seal but the person who is using the seal requires chakra to activate it. So its number of uses is limited to 2 things:

1) The amount of chakra the user has

2) the number of Shinobi who are capable of performing it.

wrong it was never confirmed to be long and secondly it was never even confirmed that he had a cool down time either, stop fappin to minato. Amenotejikara is far greater

Instant = Instant. Those who say Ameno is faster are Sasuke fanboys, and those who say FTG is faster are Minato fanboys.

Ameno is a superior space time ninjutsu because it doesn't require seals. This is the same reason kamui was said to be superior to Hiraishin. However they are both instant, neither is faster than the other.

Both have their advantages over the other, as well as drawbacks. Hiraishin doesn't have any limitations in distance /range (like Ameno does) as long as there is a seal to where the user wants to go. Nor does Hiraishin have any cool down, as long as you have the chakra, you can teleport to your hearts content. So if the battlefield is covered with dozens of markings, the user can rapidly teleport between markings without worrying about any cool down. Ameno doesn't require prep, also you can teleport anything you see, while Hiraishin can only teleport things with the users chakra residing in it or connected to the users chakra. So Ameno is more dangerous in a battle perspective. Ameno can go through dimensions I think, while Hiraishin can only open holes into dimensions but can't retain things in that dimension.

In terms of versatility and usefulness, it depends. Ameno is definitely better in terms of battle situations, but Hiraishin is better in the defensive aspect and protecting other people. Ameno can't save an entire alliance, meanwhile Hiraishin is easier to anticipate.

teleportation speed is the same however it seems as if the transition from teleporting to attacking seems faster with ameno

basically what i mean by this is that sasuke can strike faster after teleporting
