Another weak counter. Sasuke didn't use Genjutsu at all despite making eye contact, and whether it is as powerful as Madara's Genjutsu or not doesn't matter.

The only counter to Uchiha Genjutsu is not looking into the opponents eyes, and having atleast one teamate around to save you if you get caught.This is an established fact, and part of the only battle tactics against a Sharingan user.

Honestly I would say Sasuke would have fared much easier if he had a tad bit more experience with his MS. Not to mention most of his techniques were being countered too.

yeah, also his entire downside region was about to enter those enton spikes. he would have been literally cut all over.

OT. ay would have died or his leg removed. also soosnao was present so it could have softened the impact of the strike.

Sasuke would win definitely. Raikage would be completely engulfed in Amaterasu flames since his entire body would pass through the Ama shield set by Sasuke. Sasuke's ribcage Susanoo would be completely destroyed, and he would be severely injured, that's all, but Raikage would've been incinerated.

Plot armor was strong for Raikage. Sasuke had multiple occasions to put him in genjutsu, which he never did.

Plus we forget that Sasuke barely used his Genjutsu, albeit not on the same scale as Itachi, still works wonders in the long run for example what he did to Danzo by manipulating his eye to make it seem as if he had one left.

Just enton doesn't really counter the Raikage's strike. I could be on fire and still be dancing for a while. I can't remember amaterasu burning something quickly, never mind instantly.

Don't think anyone present could seal the flames off of Raikage either.

Amaterasu doesn't need to burn him instantly or quickly. The point is it would be all over the Raikage, and it can't be extinguished once it's set. It can takes it's time to burn him off completely. Raikage would turn into a midget if he cut his body parts from that.

His Susan'oo would have been crushed. It would have just gotten to his leg and he would have cut it off.

The raikage is a tenured fighter. After seeing what Amaterasu did to him, he's not gonna risk doing another attack that'll burn him unless that attck was a fatal one

Did you read my post? My point is that flames alone wouldn't prevent Raikage's strike and that it spreada incredibely slow. That's why I said he'd be a potato in the best case scenario, he'd lose at least half his limbs and a medic would have to keep him alive.

You can seal amaterasu in a scroll btw. Cba thinking of other possible ways.

Both sides are not baseless. There are two scenarios:

1. Raikage's attack is powerful enough to crush Susanoo.
2. Susanoo tanks Raikage's attack.

Raikage's attack is powerful enough to crush Susanoo:

Sasuke: Susanoo would be completely destroyed and Sasuke would be severely injured, but lives.
Raikage: Raikage's leg would be covered in Amaterasu, and Susanoo destruction would have further thrusted Raikage towards Sasuke while crossing the flames completely engulfing his body in Amaterasu. Slow and painful death for him.

Susanoo tanks Raikage's attack:

Sasuke: Nothing happen to him.
Raikage: Leg covered in Amaterasu flames. Needs to cut leg off. Can't run at top speed without leg. Sasuke solos him.

I didn't say anything about preventing Raikage's strike. Amaterasu can't "block" anything. It's fire (plasma), not a solid.

I also didn't say anything about Amaterasu spreading. Amaterasu doesn't need to spread. Raikage's attack will automatically cover him in Amaterasu completely, not just the leg. Read post 59.
