So why everyone claims he just needs speed to beat Kakuzu who went up against the fastest shinobi at the time. Is ridiculous.

Its in their rankings, Kakashi has .5 higher base speed, yes it doesn't account Shunsin but saying Kakashi who has better chakra control then Sasuke doesn't get a big boost from Shunsin as well is ridiculous.

3. Shunshin takes chakra amount used, chakra control, and the strength of the chakra into account when the speed is determined. Sasuke's chakra is far more potent than Kakashi's and he has far more chakra than Kakashi.
4. On top of having the Shunshin advantage, Sasuke has Curse Mark to bolster his speed.
Yet somehow Kakashi is faster? What tremendous speed feat does he even have pre War Arc that'd make him superior to Sasuke?
