How exactly did sasuke obtained the rinnegan?

If it wasn't for hagoromo's chakra he would not have rinnegan.

Kabuto and Orochimaru had Hashi cells, and it contained Hasi's chakra which still had Ashura chakra. But I do think it's possible for 2 people to have his chakra.

Hashirama cells doesn't work as Ashura chakra anymore, Hagoromo confirmed this when he told Naruto that Madara is trying to gain power close to his and his mother since the Transmigration is over and said Madara was able to get Hashirama cells before the Transmigration was over meaning it wouldn't work if it was over or else there wouldn't be a point to specifically mention before the transmigration was over. Hashirama and Madara who once housed Ashura and Indra chakra were used as catalyst to summon Hagoromo is all but they do not have the chakra anymore.

If so then Sasuke would have 2 Rinnegans and not just 1.

You only get 2 Rinnegans by having both Yin and Yang chakra for Hagoromo. Ashura (Yang)+Indra (Yin)=Hagoromo (Yin Yang). Sasuke was given Hagoromo's Yin chakra while Naruto got the Yang chakra which is why Sasuke only got 1 Rinnegan and Madara gots 2.

Again! Hagoromo didn't give sasuke the rinnegan, if he did sasuke wouldn't be able to deactivate it. You need indra's+Ashura's chakra to awaken hagoromo's chakra to get the rinnegan. Sasuke got Hagoromo's Chakra directly so he still met the requirements, through the influence of indra's chakra (I.e. Sharnningan), the rinnegan became a Tomoe rinnegan.

Hagoromo gave him the chakra not the powers, to say he gave him the powers would imply he gave him the rinnegan (directly), rather it was Sasuke who awakened his own. Though I do agree the chakra was given, but the powers are up to the individual.

You're confusing yourself cuz. Ahsura's chakra lives inside you, you don't get to use it, otherwise saskue would have awakened his rinnegan the moment obito was about to kill him with the goudamas since he mixed his chakra with naruto.

Nope. Read my post again, madara mixed his chakra with hashirama long time ago and thus he obtianed rinnegan, hago only appeared now because he had finally mixed it with the juubi
