Sasuke spent 698 chapters trying to cut his ties to everything and every one he ever cared about. The fact that he tried to kill Sakura and distance himself from her proves his feelings for her from the beginning.

Why is it that people accept Naruto and Sasuke's relationship after everything that happened, but can't accept Sakura's and Sasuke's relationship based on the same exact motives?

You are not my mother are you. You don't dictate the plain field and Naruto and Sasuke getting together had a complete different meaning. It was to strengthen their bond as friends which is much different from SasuSaku's relationship which was one sided. Seriously go read the manga again because you seem to have lost touch.
