He is certainly the most forgiven in any series I have ever seen... When you think about it, there really is no justice in Naruto... Look at many to for example... He gets a second chance raising kids in the village but what about his victims? They never got a second chance... But because he found himself in Izanagi he gets to go about his life? No consequences? Not even a brief stint in prison? WTF?! And don't get me started on orochimaru... I guess as long as Naruto feels you should be forgiven then justice be damned

There is justice for some. Who knows maybe kabuto got off screen detention. Becoming a nun is redemption in my eyes. As for orochimaru, I guess he's just too badass to repent or maybe he has dedicated himself to science...we'll never know. Underlined is sig worthy.

I believe sasuke didn't receive punishment because he kinda cancelled out everything. Let me explain. He becomes a missing nin but kills 3 S-rank criminals(orochimaru,Itachi, Deidara), he attacks kage summit but takes down the recently wanted danzo, and he partners with akatsuki but plays a critical part in ending the war. The only time he has truly receive repercussions for his actions is losing his arm when he wanted to become the villian for the ninja world.

The whole sarada thing, sakura told sarada repeatedly that sasuke is on a important mission thats why he can't be home yet. One thing that had sarada being down so much is whether or not sasuke cared for her and her mother. Ch. 10 of the gaiden showed that sasuke indeed cared about his family a lot. The icing on the cake was when sasuke poked sarada's forehead. The reason being sakura did the same and told her she would understand when she meets sasuke.

Now as why he was forgiven for his old deeds, I would say it would be to cancel what the Leaf did to the Uchihas. He is the last remaining one. Even if they manage to jail him, would that be fair ? How would the Uchiha clan survive ? And if they don't survive , whose fault is it ? Its the Leaf's fault. So I guess he has been pardoned as the Leaf was wrong and also because he helped with the war.

Think of it like this, say sasuke stayed in the village instead of tracking down the origin of Kaguya. What would happen is they would be completely clueless of the upcoming threat and would have gotten stomped. Naruto was already shown to be rusty over the years. Last thing we need is sasuke being rusty too. Especially if they new threat is more powerful and dangerous than Kaguya. Also don't you think if the 3rd hokage decided to not hide the fact that naruto was the son of the 4th. And if he had told the truth about the sacrifice minato did sealing kurama then naruto life actually would've been a lot better...although I can't understand myself why sasuke never contacted sarada. But sakura and naruto are just as much as fault because they could've at least told sarada the truth about sasuke and why he was gone. I'm not talking about just being in prison though... I recognize that no one could in prison him no matter how hard they try.....not even naruto bc he is just that beastly... But for the love of God, how is it that no one hates him?... He keeps Sakura waiting for all these years, and gets the pus with 0 effort then bounces....then he comes back like nothing and no one questions anything.....

People like Orochimaru and kabuto should not be walking around free I don't give a damn how redeemed they are in their hearts... There must be a price to pay as a matter of principle and justice for the victims... Should a murderer or child molester or rapist be set free just because they want to join a convent and have repented in their hearts? Good for them for repentance, but their victims must receive justice... This is just b*******

In reality though all the bad he did good came out of it. Regardless of his motive or actions as the person above stated he did kill deidera orochomoro and danzo. And itachi. Remember the only people currently alive who knows the truth about itachi is sasuke naruto kakashi and yamato. Everyone else still thinks itachi is a criminal. He also assisted stopping Edo which at the moment he wasn't quite a good guy yet. And was instrumental in ending the war.the only bad thing sasuke really did was attack the gokages and attack bee. Plus in the naruto world. They don't have just regular fights.about 90%of fights in naruto are to the death, that is just the world They live in. Also if sasuke were to answer for his crimes. The penalty would be death not prison. Everyone in their right mind knows they can't imprison sasuke. You could only kill him

Uh, do you read the manga? Sasuke can go back and forth between dimensions when ever he wants. As well as his hawk summonings as shown in chapter 680, meaning he could send letters to his family from their. Not to mention he wasn't in there in chapter 700 but still didn't contact his family.

It's hard because Sasuke has always been the Anti-hero. He's always had justified reasons for the horrible things he's done. I mean most of his actions could be excused because of what happened to him. His entire family massacred and the way his brother treated him..and then in the gaiden it's obvious Kishi is pulling an Itachi by having Sasuke make the ultimate sacrifice by being away from his family and focusing all his time on protecting the village. I usually defend Sasuke the majority of the time but you're absolutely right. What Sasuke has done in his life has been really ****ed up. If this were any other manga, a manga that didn't have forgiveness and understanding as one of it's central themes then I don't think Sasuke would be forgiven so easily. I still like Sasuke but sometimes I really wish he had suffered the consequences of his actions more. He got off way too easily for everything he's done.
